washguy Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 You need to start reloading wash. You'll spend the same amount of money but shoot 5-10 times more.JonHi Jon Me and Char been thinkin bout that! <thumbsup> Wash
gunbunny Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 As noted about online venders, but locally, our hole-in-the -wall shop has been collecting cobwebs. Plenty of stuff, and I've been trying to sell on consignment a Walther P-990 for the last couple of months with no takers, even with a bare-bones price. The clients in our area are real cheapskates. Don't expect to find 5.7x28 at this shop, though.
planeflyer21 Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 Wash, I looked up some of those 5.7 reloading components for someone recently. Only looked at Midway. They had dies, one brand of brass I think, and no/zip/nada/nothing for bullets in that caliber. You may have to buy in bulk when you find them. <laughs>Jon
blwn99x Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 if anyone know where to find new brass cased 308 fmj for about $11 a box let me know, otherwise i will wait...

Magwa Posted September 7, 2012 Report Posted September 7, 2012 Yeah but it is LE only...... <dontknow>
seasprite Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 Picked up a 1000 lead bullets at the local gun store today they still had plenty in stock but I notice some holes on the ammo shelf behind the counter still alot to choose from though. I don't know if its just a few calibers that are missing or its just a certain brand. In the past the shelves where always full.500 230gr LRN Missouri bullet 500 200gr LSWC Missouri bulletWould like to pick up 1000 more but I have to get some rifle bullets next Horndy 168gr A-max, would like to get 500-1000 of these.
blwn99x Posted September 9, 2012 Report Posted September 9, 2012 5.7x28...$35 a box plus shipping is atrocious, it should be around $25-$30, also its the lead free LE only stuff. the 40gr hornady v-max is the "good" one, at least its what everyone wants. i have finally have some coming in next week...
