shepp Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 And how does he drive sideways??? It's like magic. <lmao> <laughs> Idk why it uploaded like that, it's vertical on my phone?! So from what I read the are glorified security guards
gnatshooter Posted July 2, 2013 Report Posted July 2, 2013 The government's recent interest in purchasing truckloads of ammunition "for target practice" mirrors parallel developments in a number of agencies, which are being 'police-ified'. So, for instance, IRS agents and Social Security officials are now training with firearms and have been given police powers of arrest, detention, and -- shooting people. These people are given access to vehicles bearing the word "Police" but bear no other indication of whose agency or jurisdiction is involved. So, that might have been an IRS vehicle you saw, speeding after a tax-dodger. Or it might have been some guys with Social Security, in a hurry to track down whoever stole grandma's monthly check. So, shepp, your intuition that it was 'federal police' is pretty accurate.

It was labeled as such on the side, I was thinking about calling the number and asking if they were able to endanger the publics life for no reason
shepp Posted July 2, 2013 Author Report Posted July 2, 2013 And now I pass a military convoy also headed north packed with ply wood. Shits gett'n awfully odd here in Wisconsin today
StainTrain Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 (edited) They are the police on Federal Facilities and GSA Buildings. They have been around a while. Edited July 3, 2013 by StainTrain
DNP Posted July 3, 2013 Report Posted July 3, 2013 We have LOADS of them at the federal buildings downtown here. I will snap a pic next time I'm around there.
shepp Posted July 3, 2013 Author Report Posted July 3, 2013 I've never seen one here but I'm pretty sure most out fed buildings are in Milwaukee which is 1.5-2 hours east of me
brandondparris Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 Out of curiosity I Google searched that phone number and the first result is the DHS website...
Robocop1051 Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 Abuse of power What's the abuse? Driving???
shepp Posted July 6, 2013 Author Report Posted July 6, 2013 Out of curiosity I Google searched that phone number and the first result is the DHS website... When I saw the truck the first thing in my head that popped up was DHS :)
DNP Posted July 6, 2013 Report Posted July 6, 2013 Call the number. It's their information line from what it looks like. Maybe they'll tell you all about themselves. Can't think of any other reason to have the phone number on the back of the rig...
Zebra644 Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 They are the police on Federal Facilities and GSA Buildings. They have been around a while. ^^^^^^^ They basically are Federal Security Guards that are in charge of GSA / Federal Office Building Security. They travel to and from the different properties and thats it nothing special or spectacular.
Matt.Cross Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Everybody put your tin foil hats on so we can get together on this... <laughs>
The _Mentalist Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 It is the federal gravity police. Just another glorified wannabe renta cop on the federal level showing off. Just like the TSA packed with high school dropouts. They have NO jurisdiction other than running the metal detector in federal buildings
Matt.Cross Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 Just another agency that needs to bulk order ammo? Surely their existence must be justified....
