What a moon tonight

Nice I love taking pictures of the moon but I need a new tripod

Been looking at it with the spottig scope...epic. Also just after sunset, look in the southwest and you'll be able to see Venus and Jupiter.

 

While looking at a moon, if you have a nice telescope, you should be able to make out Neptune as a blue dot about 8 o'clock from the moon just at it rises on the east.

I'll be the first in line to volunteer to get off of this rock.....................

My girls are super excited for fall tonight's moon was huge and super bright I can't wait to shoot at some ducks that's what this moon means for me but Its a force to be recond with.

Shepp you dont need a tripod to take a picture of my moon.....its cloudy and raining,,,,so get close and balance the camera on my back :) Wash

Oh I can't wait to blast some ducks I haven't been out in two years and I just picked up an 1187 I'm stoked!!!!!

Absolutely! Too bad the weather down here isn't conducive to regular viewing. BTW, there's Comet Ison coming naked-eye visible in October.
