Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and will soon have a new DPMS LR308, with an 18" barrel. I will be primarily using it for hunting and target/range shooting. My question is regarding Magpul furniture. I've looked at A LOT of different Magpul parts and am a little confused as to which stuff/sizes to get. I guess the bottom line is, what size handguard should I be looking for (there seem to be different lengths)? Also, will any Magpul AR type telescopic stock fit? Will P-Mags work? Basically, what Magpul furniture should I be looking at to spruce up my new baby! Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Any size that you feel comfortable with. Just make sure that it's for the DPMS/SR25 pattern.

Also, will any Magpul AR type telescopic stock fit?

As long as you have a carbine length receiver extension tube.

Will P-Mags work?

Yep

Oh....and welcome to the forum.

to clarify the handguard question...are you referring to a magpul handguard? they require a non floated setup and length is determined by your gas system. more details about your rifle will help us answer your questions. there are several variations.

Thanks for the welcomes! I don't actually have the rifle yet. I will be purchasing it at the end of August. I just wanted to get an idea of what I should be looking for. I'll get back to all of you when I'm holding her in my hands and can give you more specifics.
