Guns286 Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum and will soon have a new DPMS LR308, with an 18" barrel. I will be primarily using it for hunting and target/range shooting. My question is regarding Magpul furniture. I've looked at A LOT of different Magpul parts and am a little confused as to which stuff/sizes to get. I guess the bottom line is, what size handguard should I be looking for (there seem to be different lengths)? Also, will any Magpul AR type telescopic stock fit? Will P-Mags work? Basically, what Magpul furniture should I be looking at to spruce up my new baby! Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Just make sure that it's for the DPMS/SR25 pattern. Also, will any Magpul AR type telescopic stock fit? As long as you have a carbine length receiver extension tube. Will P-Mags work? blue109 Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 to clarify the handguard question...are you referring to a magpul handguard? they require a non floated setup and length is determined by your gas system. more details about your rifle will help us answer your questions. there are several variations.

I just wanted to get an idea of what I should be looking for. I'll get back to all of you when I'm holding her in my hands and can give you more specifics.
