D.R.D. Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 What do we know about this company? http://www.radicalfirearms.com/AR-10-308-BCG-p/308-bcg-mpi.htm
survivalshop Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 Never heard of them ,but you should pick one up , just to let us know if they make a good enough product for us to use <thumbsup> <laughs> I like the review where he used 4X to see mill marks , WTF
Rsquared Posted August 15, 2014 Report Posted August 15, 2014 Sounds like "The Rule" is in effect here. <lmao>
D.R.D. Posted August 16, 2014 Author Report Posted August 16, 2014 Got it. It's on my "to eventually purchase" list, and report back
warthog984 Posted August 16, 2014 Report Posted August 16, 2014 When I was looking at BCGs, I noticed Radical Arms, Hardened Arms, and Red Barn Armory BCGs look identical and have the same description, "Made in the USA by US Gov't Contractor." I know member J.Peace used a Hardened Arms BCG in his build.
j.peace Posted August 16, 2014 Report Posted August 16, 2014 I bought the hardnend arms for the same price it looks just like the one on the radical site. Mine looksband runs great. I've had one FTE on round 70ish out of about 400 round total now.
j.peace Posted August 19, 2014 Report Posted August 19, 2014 No I didn't put it under a glass. But I've disassembled and reassembled it a few times during cleaning. Maybe I'm not picky enough.
crimsonfalcon07 Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 I have the radical firearms one, but haven't tried it out. Still saving up for the last few parts. There are visible machining marks under the WMD NiB coating, but it doesn't look like anything that would inhibit function. If nobody else has one by the time I finish my build, I'll report back.
crimsonfalcon07 Posted December 11, 2014 Report Posted December 11, 2014 Oh, and just an update for anyone who missed the info about this in my build thread. Rainier Arms informed me that they were unable to headspace the bolt to any of their barrels, and suggested it was probably out of spec. I'll be sending it back for a refund. Buy with caution (or not at all).
