DNP
I wasn't far off, blends in well. Good looking rifle.
lmao_37
Its really nice to shoot. Although it wasn't quite as good when I got it out of the box, the original overmoulded Hogue stock sucks and needed replacing. I bedded the scope mount base to the reciever and recoil lug. It now shoots sub moa as long as I do my part.
98Z5V
Run that serial number on the trigger recall page, and see if your trigger is affected, brother. http://xmprecall.remington.com/
Toolndie7
Nice looking weapon. I just did some work on a 700 that had that same stock, I like it alot. Ive got the other style of choate stock on a savage
MONTANA308
Just bought same rifle in 308 from a buddy of mine. Have not shot it yet waiting on a new stock and working on glass options. My buddy shot it in a different stock when he first bought it. It was sub moa easy. Should have this rifle up and running by October I'll post a pic when it's done. My rifle it is included in the recall and I have phoned remington and they are sending me the information and a box to ship the rifle back to the Remington factory. lmao_37
I thought about just changing the trigger but iam trying to keep my wife happy at the moment so I can stary saving to change the bottom metal and 10 round double stack magazine. In total the stock inletting and bottom metal will cost $311.
Microgunner
It can be converted to detachable magazine? What style of mag?
98Z5V
The 700 SPS Tactical is the 700 BDL family - bottom metal changes on the BDL are easy. If it was the ADL, there'd be a hell of alot of work to do.
