  1. That does suck. If a surgeon tells you it's better not to do surgery, I would trust him much more than one who wants to cut when you walk in the door. Ultram is a narcotic pain reliever that is not as strong as hydocodone (Vicodin) but also not as addictive.
  2. Now I know where Romo gets it. Even the owner is making passes to the wrong people. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/cowboys/2014/09/09/jerry-jones-lawsuit-sexual-assault-dallas-cowboys/15367229/
  3. I'm more frequently watching the train wreck than trying to make it go faster.
  4. Unfortunately, we have to go by our real names. However, there are plenty of people there that like to argue and "make their point" to the people on the other side. It is only open to eye docs, so it tends to be the same dozen or so people on every thread with a few other people chiming in occasionally. When the obvious futility sets in, most people just ignore the thread or sit back and watch it like a train wreck about to happen.
  5. Stay safe. That's a lot of rain for places that aren't used to it. Happy birthday Shibi! :ifly:
  6. That would be appropriate in an eye doc forum I am on in any of the threads involving guns and/or politics. I stay out of it for the most part, because there are many people on both sides who refuse to pay attention to the other and keep repeating the same things over and over. That would be dickfinity squared and that's against my religion. <laughs>
  7. Since no one else has asked, how is your son's AR pistol coming along? :ROFL
  8. Welcome from Texas and thank you for your service.
  9. Nice rifle! Welcome from a little south of Dallas. What part of Texas are you in?
  10. Proof of ghosts!
  11. Good luck to the two of you. Get some sleep ... if you can.
  12. Even though this is not real, I like this quote from the fictitious judge.
  13. Now you will have to nurture him and feed him to make sure he grows up big and strong. He will need a name befitting his stature and place in society. It will be up to you to make sure he has everything he needs to be complete and functional. :)) Oh yeah, you may want to help your wife with your new son. :binkybaby: But seriously, congrats on the birth of your child. It is a special event to be cherished.
  14. That's funny!
  15. I thought this may of use to some of the members here if you feel inclined to by an FN of some sort. The sale is open to current and retired LEO and military and a few others. I have only purchased some ammo from them one time in the past. I had no trouble, but I don't know how it would be to buy a firearm from them. http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=99c3876c30b42968d4190988b&id=3bd81e1b57&e=6a52f650ae
  16. Welcome from Texas and thank you for your service.
  17. Welcome from north-east-ish Texas.
  18. I agree that most of today's music is crap. That is definitely an exception and it does have a great message. <thumbsup>
  19. I had accidentally clicked on a filter in the box next the search. It went back to normal when I unchecked it. Crisis averted.
  20. Since this morning around 8AM, I get an error when I click on "View New Content." It says no new content found. It is on more than one computer and my phone. I tried logging out and back in (but not on all devices at the same time) without luck. I know there in new content since the last time I clinked the link. I can go into the individual forums and see new posts. Any ideas on what happened or what I may have done? Here is a screen capture.
  21. How about a cactus flower? No hardware, but at least there's the threat of injury. :enguard:
  22. I didn't hear the unfortunate joke, but can I get in on the free beer.:D
  23. We have been to Pike's Peak. My wife got dizzy from the altitude, but no problem in the cabin we stayed in at 9500 feet. All of these are great suggestions. I don't know where we may end up. We may stay in CO if we find somewhere we like. Any unusual concealed carry restrictions in adjoining states I should know about?
  24. I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks
  25. My wife and I are going to Colorado next week. I have a conference to go to in Estes Park starting Thursday. Then we are going to go off-road, camping, and other things that strike our fancy. We may make it to Mt. Rushmore and to Sturgis the week before the rally. I've heard there are quite a few vendors that set up early. We rarely make definite plans for vacations. Anything else in the area that we should consider? I know that I can only carry a gun with a magazine with 15 rounds in Colorado. Are there any similar restrictions in neighboring states? I know I could look it up, but it's late and I'm being lazy.
