  1. I will take one of each in XL. Let me know how and where to pay.
  2. I had a great experience with them. I did not buy ammo, but I bought some mags from them. I combined my work and home address when filling out shipping address and then wondered why the package didn't arrive when it was supposed to. When I realized I was an idiot, they gladly rerouted the package at their expense (about 10% of the order total) so that I got what I ordered.
  3. I was about to write that same thing. I watched the shooting and fast-forwarded through the drama. Then the show was only about 15 minutes long
  4. Hell, I think those are bigger than some of the deer around here. <thumbsup>
  5. Very cool!
  6. The knife to a gun fight thread reminded me of the 121 foot rule.
  7. I have a yugo sks. I would not pay $450 for one, but that is about the asking price that I have seen lately. I bought mine several years ago and paid $130. For that price and before ammo went up, it was a cheap way to go out and shoot something bigger than a 22.
  8. A patient of mine goes to veteran cemeteries and helps to clean them. That is the way to honor those who gave all. I only wish I was as good as he is.
  9. Amen brother
  10. I live at the Southern part of "tornado alley" and expect multiple storms a year that have that capability. That doesn't mean I don't keep an eye or two on the weather when it's warranted. I would be totally freaked out by an earthquake that a Californian would shrug at. It is horrible when a tornado hits a populated area just like it's horrible when an earthquake devastates an earthquake-prone area. You live with what trials God gives to your area and trust that you will be safe when He is through.
  11. That sounds like a great shirt.
  12. As much as I dislike WalMart as a general rule, I have found ammo there with some regularity. They have not changed prices from before the poop started. I got 300 rounds of 45 for $100 last week.
  13. Cabelas online has some 22LR right now. $50 for 1000 or $24 for 500 (different brands). http://www.cabelas.com/catalog/browse/rimfire-ammunition/_/N-1100192/Ns-CATEGORY_SEQ_104536080?WTz_l=SBC%3BMMcat104792580%3Bcat104691780
  14. I also understood that the suspects had guns. What else do you need?
  15. Welcome from TX. I know you'll enjoy the LAR-8. I've enjoyed mine. FAL mags are not too hard to find for a reasonable price if you look.
  16. Very nice job. All of them look good. I am partial to the fde and od one myself.
  17. It's nice to know I didn't overpay at the gun show. I bought the set that comes up first for $40 today at Fort Worth gun show.
  18. Just in time for the NRA meeting.
  19. 5 boxes of 308 ammo from Cabelas.
  20. Except they didn't bite him in the nuts.
  21. That is crap. Similar to Jon, my grandfather had a leg cut off below the knee with a circular saw while working on a barn. He worked for another 10 years on his dairy farm before he retired at 75. I went out to help during the summer. He could outwork me with one good leg. There is too much poor, pitiful me in this country.
  22. Fire+beer-guns=good times It's simple math.
  23. Thanks again for the advice. I will reuse what I can for reloading. My dad has been reloading for years and I am going to get him to teach me how best to do it.
  24. Thanks for all of the opinions. I really appreciate it. <thumbsup> I was leaning towards shooting only the ones that were slightly discolored but not corroded. But I didn't want to throw away a bunch of ammo that was good and just looked rough.
  25. My dad does. I have not done any reloading, but have read on both sides of the argument about tumbling live ammo. What are your thoughts and experiences with it?
