  1. A patient of mine is a tactical weapons instructor. He told me he has 8000+ rounds through his RRA 308 with no issues. Maintain it and it will treat you to years of faithful service.
  2. Good luck with your surgery. We'll talk to you soon.
  3. I saw this link from slickguns. I don't know anything about the company (or the crowdfunding site), but thought I would pass along the information. http://www.rockethub.com/31622 1 80% lower = $35 (AR15 or AR10) 1 Jig kit = $50 (AR15 or AR10) 2 80% lowers = $60 (AR15) 2 80% lowers = $65 (AR10) The costs get lower per unit as you give more money. This is from their site: I hope this may help someone, or at least give another option.
  4. So you're keeping him all to yourself? :P
  5. Does he have any plans to be at the show in FW this weekend? I may head that way to my parents' house.
  6. Mine showed up on my front porch today. 8)
  7. I have the FNP45 not tactical. It also comes with 3 mags, but standard is 14 rds instead of 15 with the tactical. The only problem I have ever had is when it needs cleaning. If you can aim, it will put a round there.
  8. Looks great! I guess it takes longer to get to Texas - with the pony express and all.:)
  9. Thanks again for the time you put into getting this done. I'm glad I made it easy to know who I was.:)
  10. Chiefs probably caught that from the Cowboys. They have had that problem since Garret and Romo started calling and running the plays.
  11. Maybe it's the beer, but I found that hilarious.
  12. No need to wait for an argument.
  13. Me too!!
  14. Will send directly. Thanks for your efforts.
  15. Welcome from Texas.
  16. Both might be off a little, but I think that fits in with most of this group.:) It's your call, but I think they look good.
  17. It's probably hard now, but happy birthday blue.
  18. They do look nice. The important question is: how much ammo will it haul along with appropriate guns? Just in case that need arises.:D
  19. ... driving to school in my second year of optometry school. I was passing the Mexican consulate on US59 in Houston when I heard that there was a plane in the first tower and then the second plane hit. The school administration tried to have class and clinic hours as close to normal as possible. There was a TV in the lunchroom that we used to stayed up to date with what was happening. Sometimes we went to class and sometimes we didn't.
  20. I don't do surgery so it can't be me. Plus, I'm down in Corsicana. It would be cool to have a scope implant though.:D
  21. I'm glad you're in Dallas now. I'll be there in an hour. I'll bring beer. :D
  22. Excellent! Now we need a place to send money.
  23. OK, one more Miley reference.
  24. Building a covered shooting bench on my dad's land. It was 106 today.
  25. Wish I were close. It looks like fun.
