  1. Welcome to the forum. While the rifle is still apart, measure the gas port. It is a frequent issue with reliability in these rifles.
  2. Welcome to the forum. When you get around to posting about your rifle, look at this thread to see what info may be asked for to solve problems. https://forum.308ar.com/topic/19170-waterboarding/?tab=comments#comment-302006
  3. Vic is a wealth of wisdom...and usually spit.
  4. I don't think we've had that much snow in my part of Texas in my whole life combined... thankfully.
  5. Pretty soon it will be retinal scan and rectal probe to verify payment.
  6. I head that he is a long time guitar tech for the band.
  7. We are in the 50s and overcast/rainy this week. Ugh.
  8. In a slightly different genre of music, here's a Black Sabbath cover that doesn't suck. It's not as good as the original. But it is surprising considering the singer. They really should have spent some money on a bass player though.
  9. Welcome to the forum.
  10. Welcome to the forum. If you have questions about your rifle that you don't find an answer to, start a thread about your rifle. It will usually get a better response and more accurate answers than adding on to an old thread.
  11. Center of pin hole to the tip is 0.600 inches.
  12. That's great. The buffer and spring were laid down backwards in the picture.
  13. He means that the buffer face should be facing out to contact the bcg, like this.
  14. I had an AR that did that. It turned out I warped the tube when I tightened it. An incorrect spring may also be binding up with the buffer upon recoil which could cause it to stick. That said, Rex is correct that your buffer is too light.
  15. Yes, he was. @sketch is a great guy in real life.
  16. There is a lot more information that will be needed to help you with this as there are many different possible causes. Please read this thread and provide as much of the information as possible.
  17. I second the need to measure the gas port first. It costs nothing to check it. There are far more potential issues with carbine buffer systems than rifle systems.
  18. @Rsquared, Susan sends this to you with her complements.
  19. Yep, I have cooked them on everything from a pellet grill to an open fire pit over mesquite wood coals. They have always been good. This is what I use when I am lazy, which has been most of the time lately. I usually repackage them into a freezer bag and pour some of this into the bag before freezing. It gets marinaded while freezing and when defrosting.
  20. My favorite is boneless, skinless thighs marinated for a couple of days and cooked on the grill. I rarely have any leftovers when I cook them. They go faster than brisket.
  21. Welcome to the forum. Thank you for getting a few more people from the next generation interested in firearms.
  22. Did you find an active credit card for @Belt Fed? Looks nice.
  23. I see that you left this in the pic for @98Z5V I didn't want it to be too subtle for him to find. 👹
  24. I texted with him about a month ago. He is doing better and subbing at the school to keep busy.
