  1. My wife said he should have the Evil Spock goatee.
  2. Diamondback does have the slant cut. They changed the TPI as of the first of 2021 from 16 to 18 on the barrel nut. Their rails give you one barrel nut of each TPI.
  3. Warning! Juvenile humor ahead.
  4. Welcome to the forum. My wife and I will be at SDTF next month. We'll see you then.
  5. That is great to hear! I'm glad it is working well. Thanks for coming back to update. Now it's time to start on the next build.
  6. I would urge caution about Rossi lever guns. They are not necessarily bad. It is hard to find parts. My brother has one that a screw holding the lever broke. It took me weeks of looking before I found one online. I had to email the guy and ask since he was "The Rossi Guy."
  7. If he wants it for plinking, range shooting and occasional light hunting, he should swap it for a more common and cheaper caliber. If granddad was a nice granddad, he would buy him a complete upper in 223 for Christmas. That way he could have both. https://www.bearcreekarsenal.com/ar-15/ar-15-complete-upper-assembly.html
  8. That's gorgeous Larry. I wish you would be at home when we drive through town next month. But I think you will be away for your ride. I would love to see it in person.
  9. Is that one that @sketch hadn't cleaned in a while?
  10. He may be poking him in a hemorrhoid. That's what would be in that place.
  11. @sketch, glad you came out relatively unscathed. You didn't need to put a thumb in it. You're about to make me get my guns out to clean them.
  12. It turned out great.
  13. Welcome to the forum
  14. Tattletail . He would have found it on his own. @Lonewolf McQuadefound out the peeing sitting down comment and I posted that months before he could see it.
  15. He'll find that comment in short order.
  16. Did you send her to AZ? I'm sure Tom would have found her.
  17. Get your spare parts kit and you'll be fine, even if you are 240.
  18. @Belt Fed, you can now get a parts kit for yourself and live forever. You are kind of expensive though.
  19. I am exposed to a couple dozen different people every day. I get exposed to small amounts of everything over a period of time.
  20. Awesome news! Thank you for the update.
  21. I have enough parts to build most of several guns. I don't think I could complete anything without ordering parts.
  22. I do not have an issue with people who take a flu or Covid shot. I have never had a flu shot and never had the flu. I may change my position if I had gotten the flu and was in a more vulnerable health state. At the moment, I believe in my immune system to protect me.
  23. I'm not associated with the site officially or even a moderator. However, I believe it has been a bit since the manufacturer section list has been updated. Whereas there were only a few when I joined the forum, there are a multitude of manufacturers now. I don't believe it to be a slight, just a lack of updates in a rapidly changing field of manufacturers.
  24. 9mm is now $320+ per 1000, and that is for steel case. As @edgecrusher said, it depends on what you already have and what you need to start reloading. If all you need is components, you might save a little money. If you have to buy equipment, keep shopping for ammo deals. www.ammoseek.com
