Measuring is the best way to know for sure, but I believe the A5 is the same as Armalite receiver extension.

It will happen in Arizona starting Nov 11 this year. Although, I don't know if I would call it an intervention as much as a prodding to see how far he will go after fueling him with Jameson. -

It can also be a cataract. That can cause multiple images as well as cause astigmatism itself.
