  1. We’ve had that posted as a survey picture for a while. “What’s taking so long to get a measurement on the flow line of that pipe?”
  2. We know....
  3. Wife had a coworker and her husband over this weekend. They asked if we had any trouble with snakes. “Been here a year and I’ve see one snake...not a rattler” I told them. Sure enough they tripped over a really dark one while my wife was showing them the property. I didn’t get back down the hill in time to kill it. Bummer.
  4. Sounds like love at first sight. Better snatch that thing up before she gets fondled by too many others.
  5. Can’t wait to see you on it permanently!
  6. That’s awesome. Finally some serious love.
  7. And hopefully you know I was just teasing. Just laughed when I saw your thread bumped after the shoot.
  8. He said “pockets”....you can’t show all your cards. You know there’s a HiPoint or a Phoenix Arms in the prison wallet.
  9. Sunuvabitch....he’s gonna sell you guys back your brass from the meet-up!

    Damn shepp.
  11. Yeah...that’s kinda what I was thinking. My dad texted this morning and told me to do something fatherly with the boys. “Like take them out back and hand em a whoopin?” Was the first thing that crossed my mind. I’ve told them all I need from them today is that they try to get along. A little less brotherly fighting would be fantastic. And quiet. My grandfather used to tell us all to keep it to a dull roar. That’s all I need. A few notches below normal and less fighting....gonna be a good day.
  12. Happy Father’s Day all! Hope you all get to relax a little and enjoy some extra time reflecting on all the joys of fatherhood.
  13. I gave the boy a choice of Red or Blue for the HG....I think he’s been around Uncle Tom too much...he chose brown.
  14. Strike’s FDE is not quite FDE. Was hoping their own Handguard would match their stock. We’ll see how it shoots tomorrow night. Still need to finish a few parts up and tighten them down. 16” dedicated barrel from Right to Bear...pretty sure its CMMG. The dedicated bolt was supposed to be R2B, but it’s CMMG too. Had to do a little dremel work to get the Strike HG onto the Taccom upper. Put a reverse thread fake silencer on there for the thread guard.
  15. Ok. It’s off the list now. On to the next. This is one is for my oldest. He helped put a few pieces and we talked a lot about the parts. Trying to get the vocabulary and the working concepts down at least.
  16. I got ya. I was just trying to keep it light and comical. We’re all on the same side.
  17. Mack...that domain was taken, but that’s a good suggestion.
  18. Has he tried holding it sideways while firing? The weight should help pull the pin back to where it needs to be. For some people, this may take a few hundred rounds before it gets sorted out. Should probably measure every fifty shots or so to check progress.
  19. The squeeze I gave my nuts. We’re from California, remember? The dry-docking is a pretty regular occurrence for us.
  20. Ouch...too tight.
  21. Well...you do think you’re pretty special in your free state over there. All your standard capacity magazines and fancy toys. Always gotta rub it in and kick us poor California outcasts in the nuts. I’m feeling the need for a safe space.... And I have to agree with the point that we get lumped in with the rest of the state like we voted for moonbeam or Newsome. As I mentioned before, packing up and leaving isn’t going to help this place. Staying and resisting where we can, pushing back where we can...that is the only hope. Support from the free states would help too.

You should eat more. You’ve gotta be on a 7000 cal diet anyways to keep up with the workouts. Might as well have some chicken and asparagus when you get home.
  23. The problem is, many are leaving because they can’t afford it here anymore. There are those who leave because they can’t stand the politics, but for many it’s financial. Those ones are your issue. They don’t realize they voted themselves into their situation. What we need, is more of you folks to move here and get the numbers up so we can turn this thing around. We’re in a death spiral and I don’t think there’s any pulling out. States like CA will be the first to see a major reset of some sort. Who knows when....but every year the majority of the politicians try to find a way to out-stupid the previous years insanity.
