  1. The rule applied to Eugene. In the post directly above mine. He owes us the report
  2. I just re-read the topic title. To maximize space in my safe, I don’t get any new guns. There’s a lot of space in there unfortunately, but at least there’s a lot of something.
  3. Collar and leash are cool too!
  4. My dad just picked up a new F150 King Ranch. After talking with our mechanic and going back and forth he went with the plain V-8. I was hoping we’d have the little twin turbo beast, but he just sees it as more to go wrong. He had a 2005 250 with all the turbo trouble they had in it and I think he’s a little turbo-shy now.
  5. Definitely let us know how the rods go. I have been looking at making something to go in my safe as a “rack”. I have a similar issue, except for the inheriting a bunch of guns part. I use one side for the rifles and the other for ammo and cases and parts. Most of my rifles are too short to reach the provided holder and they wind up leaning against each other in the back corner or along the back wall. I need to build a box for the back they can sit on that will pick everything up 6”.
  6. I watched a bunch after that one. I’m not gonna say I didn’t laugh.
  7. Have we told you lately that you suck?

    Rain

Up there closer to the lightning! 😯 stay safe! snow Sisco? Damn!
  9. That guy looked half dead...nothing but laughter from the peanut gallery.
  10. The clock ticks and “The Rule” applies.
  11. That’s not terrible milage, but you can probably do a little better. My diesel gets around 9mpg when pulling at 65. Drop to 55 and I get about 11.5mpg.
  12. I got some catching up to do. I don’t have anywhere near enough guns in the safe. I’m going to aim for at least 2 a year until I can afford 4 a year. 700 pistol is pretty far down the line on my list, but that could be a fun one.
  13. Well, he needs to be getting some overtime in apparently.
  14. That is a great little trailer. The fact you can haul it around with the FJ is awesome. You need a lot more road trips in your future.

    Rain

Thought maybe you got lost again. Few sprinkles this week and we’ll probably be dry for a while again. Had a fair amount of rain this winter, but nothing to bitch about. The weather in San Diego is terrible.
  19. Thank you sir! This one went out the door and hopefully it will not return. I had a labeling issue. I was labeling contours using a seed file and styles supplied by the city. It was coming through at twice the required size and I could not figure out which setting to change to get it right. Wound up manually adjusting each one and clipping the contours around the text. Simple process screwed up my too many dependent styles.
  20. 98- slowly. And if she can do it without looking, she’s definitely a keeper. Silly Canadian....that’s why you keep one chained in the kitchen too.
  21. I would still prefer my AR’s assembled by a woman chained to a bedpost...😜 I do like them good looking enough that they need not be hooded.
  22. Long winded is not an issue. Details matter. Look into a rigid box. AR’s and ammo will go nicely in there and it’s more than secure enough. I know at least one lunatic that has a half dozen of them around the house. I’m not sure he knows what’s in each of them even.
  23. So, what do we win?
