  1. You run the company that sided with BLM publicly back when it was a big topic? I'm sorry. Deleted that account in a hurry.
  2. And besides, I'm holding out for an Easter Special -Short Bus Discount on a .338 semi-auto from this up and coming manufacturer I've been watching.
  3. I kinda wonder what the kick in an 8lb .338LM bolt action feels like though. 6.5 should be pretty mild
  4. Like that thought hasn't crossed my mind... on another note, during the great ammo shortages of the recent past...300WM was all over the place on the shelves.
  5. Didn't buy it, but it's on the list of considerations. They have a long action version too...so the next bolt gun could be one of those. Right now...I'm contemplating another 9mm. Leaning towards Glock at the moment which is how I wound up in the handgun threads.
  6. That's a better option than some of the others. I might have to get a couple of those and try them out.
  7. I'm in California...it takes 10 days to find that out.
  8. You think that's bad...Went in to look at hand guns yesterday. Held this thing instead. Not bad for $2200. Christensen Arms 6.5 Creed ....way friggin light trigger seemed fantastic.
  9. I thought you were going to give a link to a divorce attorney. Most guys can drop 120-160 pounds and half their paycheck for a while...almost overnight.
  10. Holy crap.....that's a Loooooong time! you had one of the first ones, eh?

I have one set up to access my AutoCAD at the office. Without a screaming internet connection it's pretty rough. If I have more than 20 minutes worth of work to do, it's better I just drive to the office. I have it for home sick or home with the kids situations where I still need access to my workstation.
  12. Just remember, the 9 o'clock show is completely different than the 7 o'clock show. Don't forget to tip your bartender.
  13. I'll start working on some more bullet resistant designs. Probably pick up some more steel for this year too. I have another idea in the works for targets, but we'll see where that goes before I go too much into explaining.
  14. BS...GREG is in charge of the bar.
  15. Also, as discussed last year...we need people to own each of these days or seperate events. Tom can't be responsible. And he can't handle being in charge of everything either. In order to make sure we actually accomplish the various tasks we plan out, we need someone to pick an event and take charge of it. You will be responsible for planning your event, setting up the course and pushing us all into line. I've noticed there seems to be a little A.D.D. In this group and we have trouble with time management. The night shoots started because we were bullshittin all day and the sun disappeared.
  16. "...if they're too full, there's no way they're going to dig a hole in the desert."
  17. Class b felony for possessing a mag.
  18. PECKERFACE....that's a chicken, kinda like a black hawk.
  19. Pretty genius from a marketing standpoint. PSA only sells things to people who are ok with guns. This standpoint may not make an anti happy, but they don't shop there anyways. While the pro 2A will be proud of them for saying it, and potentially even buy something in support. I'm sure they are sincere about it, but it was a wise move to put it out there.

    Grilling

Not yet...got a lot left to do before I can do that. I use a 4 probe Bluetooth thermo, and that has been nice around the house. Traeger will not relight if it burns out, so that sucks if I need to run down to the grocery store.

    Grilling

That's what I want...right there. The freedom to run to the store during a 13 hour cook witht eh ability to know if I need to haul ass home. Not that I e EVER let a hopper run out...not me.
  22. Yep...if only we made today's wages back then.
  23. It looks like it might suck...but I hope I'm wrong.
  24. And what about a blind guy in the back seat of a taxi or chauffeured car? Highly likely that he won't be driving, but may still want to go to the bank on his way home. Probably easier to do it that way than to get out and go in. Damnit...I was doing something and now I forget what it was. If a man says something in the forest and his wife is nowhere she can hear him, is he still wrong?

    SFPD shootout

And then running around looking for cover, potentially in the line of fire if another officer. I hope they trained hard after that incident.
