  1. I pulled up my emails from when I bought them years ago. They appear to be gone. It was Midwest PX.
  2. I’m struggling to remember the site I got them from, but I bought 5 round PMAGs. They were cut down. They weren’t just a blocked 10 round. I’ll try to dig it up, but Google will probably find it faster than I will.
  3. Our crews got rejected from a site the other day. Lately they’ve been requiring chin straps on your hard hats. We had a “retrofit” kit that allowed them to run straps on a conventional hard hat. No longer good enough. They had to go buy special rock-climbing hats to wear now. All to work in the wide open street and on a site with nothing overhead.
  4. That would be fantastic. The way that guy works, all the targets will be up and the road in will be paved by 4:00 PM the first day.
  5. I’d say that’s 98’s, but it’s not purple
  6. That sounds like a good retirement.
  7. Didn’t even offer it up here…just SOLD it to some poor bastard who has no idea how quickly these things breed. Don’t get it wet and don’t feed it after midnight.
  8. Yes. And you only have so much available room to dial your scope. A base with MOA gives you that much more(10,20,30) MOA travel on your scope dial.
  9. Give it 15 Hail Mary’s, 10 Our Fathers, press 1 26 times, jump up and down in a circle and bark like a dog. All will be forgiven.
  10. That’s great feedback on Leupold. Glad to hear it!

    DPMS build

Definitely not out of luck. DPMS pattern works with a lot of manufacturers. As said above, let’s talk about what you want to do with the rifle…and we’ll help do some damage to the credit cards.

Is there a BAD day for ribs?? Looking tasty sir.
  13. On a “backup .260”? I though that was her gun?
  14. There is a time limit to edit a post. Stupid I know, bu somebody ran with scissors and we made the decision that what you say stays forever now.
  15. And even if you did, it’s a dry sunshine….so that’s a lot better.
  16. Well told stories gentlemen. You need somebody videoing and editing this stuff. Throw together a little debrief session after. I think you could make some money on the YouTube.
  17. Free states like California….where I can still have air rifles.

    And an easy breakfast…

    Grilling

Had to go with the normal method. Took forever on the GMG at 200. Pulled at 108 because I wanted to feed the kids before morning. Tossed on the gas grill on high, lid open, for 2 min per side. Wound up just over 130 after resting. Was a little more medium rare than the kids like, but I thought it was alright. Just seasoned with “the blend”.

This is the laziest, easiest piece of meat to cook on the pellet grill (which is already like the crock pot of smoking). You could do it - I have faith.

    Grilling

Case in point…I started with an untrimmed tri-tip tonight at 3.12 lbs for 7.99/lb. Here is what I cut off…and I didn’t quite get it all.
  22. Having to put an adjustable gas block on would be worst case scenario, and pretty unlikely to occur if you start at the low end of where it should be and work up. It has solved many problems with many guns here on this forum.

    Grilling

11.99 a pound was a bit of an exaggeration. Usually closer to $7

    Grilling

They sell the “untrimmed” ones at our local grocery store. I have one I’ll be cooking tonight. I finish the trimming before I cook. They do that so they can sell you fat at 11.99 a pound. I weighed one of them that I cut 1.5 pounds off of before I cooked it. They should be selling those at quite the discount per pound. That fat doesn’t do any good for this cut in my opinion. I might give your method a try tonight, though I should have started a little sooner.
  25. I had one of those. One of the engineers was admiring it when I left my last job, so I let her keep it. When you start cranking them out…put me on the list for one.
