As stated, match the lower. Put a proper recoil system, make sure you have a barrel with a proper sized gas port (plenty on that here in other threads) and make sure you have a gas tube that winds up in the proper location…you’ll have very few reasons it can’t run.

And seeing as we were at one point, and may still be, producing over 10% of the agriculture in the nation…we actually have resources.

She knows she’s out of your league. Smart woman…you’ll do anything she wants and that makes everything work. It’s a win win. I learned that with my wife early on. She could have somebody in her league, but that takes a lot of work and she’d constantly be competing with other women. Settle a little below your league and you’ve trapped a man for life who will always treat you well.

If you get thing working right, do a nice write up on it and it might save someone else down the road. A lot of things wind up working together, and a lot of things don’t. It’s impossible to have a full list of what will fly matched up with another brand…but having threads work through it just supply more data to the internet for those searching specifics later on. Some info is hard to find on here, but there’s been a lot of trial and error builds. Most of us on this forum have been through at least one of those.

Agreed. I don’t feel he retreated. He went inside for backup and say “seriously…get off my property”. Green shirt dude thought he’d show what a badass he was and attempted to take the rifle. No way to tell what he would have done. Game over.
