    Grilling

Just don’t do it in a plastic bucket.
  2. Scan tags sound great.l for the inventory purpose. RFID does not. However, I don’t know how easy it is to pick up on an RFID tag from a distance.
  3. Probably make them easier to recover after an accident.

    My last Elk

Next season I’ll come pack for you. Good luck on the hunt.
  5. I have a GGG in the 6-9 range from best I remember, and I like my Magpul bipods almost as much.
  6. Come on now…we’re going to pass up a chance to talk medium price range bipods? @Rsquared is holding out on you @Steve crawford he has the ultimate bipod at home and it could be mid priced depending on your budget. Unless he hawked it for MGD money already.
  7. I’ve got a couple of the Magpul’s, but run them on my 22’s…so keep that in mind. Height is going to depend on you and the terrain you want to use it in. Lay down and rest the rifle on a few objects of varying height to find the right fit for you. Some of us are a little (we’ll just say deeper) (ok, rounder) than others and might need a little more height. I haven’t had a problem with 6-9 and I’m not tiny. If you’re going to be somewhere you need it a little higher…get the taller one.
  8. Lol. Guilty. As I’ve been doing flooring in the house I’ve been considering putting a chain on a couple. One by the saws and one clipped to my belt. Then it can never get more than 3’ away.
  9. Just lengthen the swing arm on that tricycle a touch. Say 6-7 feet
  10. You have fancy soap in your bathroom? That some leftover French schitt you Canucks got stuck with??
  11. it’s kinda like a hazing process though…most who see the humor it and proceed with the shenanigans seem to stick around longer as they now have skin in the game and this place feels more like home. We all get a good laugh, you get that part you were curious about which usually turns out to be a decent part anyways and everyone is happy. I have not heard of anything from lancer that isn’t halfway decent at a minimum…and no, that doesn’t qualify as a review.
  12. What gun? That’s a sweet workbench.
  13. Yeah….but none of these guys are sly enough to pull it off. Dead giveaway when someone who has had the rule apply phrases the question perfectly to invoke the rule.
  14. Right there with you….this is awesome.
  15. He was calling out BLKSHEEP…unless you’ve changed names, I don’t think he was really pointing to you.
  16. Yeah…a couple years ago. You don’t remember?
  17. Didn’t see a carb either. Cool decoration though. I challenge Tom to put one together with the CR500 in it.
  18. Doesn’t look like it would run.
  19. It’s all in good fun, but think of the benefits. You get to try the part you were curious about and the next guy that wanders through here with the same question will be helped by the knowledge you gained in testing it. This came up years ago…and has actually been followed by many over those years. So the question is: are we going to have some fun?
  20. The rule did not define how long you have to be around. It’s a simple rule, and gives a good excuse to buy something you want to try out anyways. He’s gonna get off easy with a brake.
  21. As long as the carrier doesn’t bind when going into the buffer tube, it’ll probably just be cosmetic. This is one of the reasons we stress keeping the upper an lower from the same manufacturer. With no specs, you’ll likely get a better fit if both pieces are from the same shop using their own dimensions and specs.

Looks like a terrible meal. I’m jealous.
  23. If you didn’t put it there, someone else meant to.
  24. Sounds like you got her figured out.
  25. Just to clarify, the note about the nomenclature is actually a pretty big deal because a lot of vendors screw this up too. These things have enough differences that when you call everything 308 or large frame an AR-10….then find out you have a completely different barrel nut, a different length gas tube, a slightly wider pin for “xx” a different length buffer tube, the wrong spring, the wrong buffer…you get where I’m going probably. That’s why the right names matter with these, and that’s why some photos and dimensions help the folks on this side of the screen to diagnose the issue and help work towards a solution. These guys can be really helpful, but if you make it like pulling teeth to get the info they need to help you, it evaporates in a hurry. Nobody is trying to be a dick (some of us just are). Everyone here wants the end result to be you having a big smile on your face and a pile of brass next to you thrown by a functioning gun. Help us help you…no problem is unsolvable.
