Scan tags sound great.l for the inventory purpose. RFID does not. However, I don’t know how easy it is to pick up on an RFID tag from a distance.

Probably make them easier to recover after an accident.

I have a GGG in the 6-9 range from best I remember, and I like my Magpul bipods almost as much.

Come on now…we’re going to pass up a chance to talk medium price range bipods? @Rsquared is holding out on you @Steve crawford he has the ultimate bipod at home and it could be mid priced depending on your budget. Unless he hawked it for MGD money already.

I’ve got a couple of the Magpul’s, but run them on my 22’s…so keep that in mind. Height is going to depend on you and the terrain you want to use it in. Lay down and rest the rifle on a few objects of varying height to find the right fit for you. Some of us are a little (we’ll just say deeper) (ok, rounder) than others and might need a little more height. I haven’t had a problem with 6-9 and I’m not tiny. If you’re going to be somewhere you need it a little higher…get the taller one.

Lol. Guilty. As I’ve been doing flooring in the house I’ve been considering putting a chain on a couple. One by the saws and one clipped to my belt. Then it can never get more than 3’ away.

it’s kinda like a hazing process though…most who see the humor it and proceed with the shenanigans seem to stick around longer as they now have skin in the game and this place feels more like home. We all get a good laugh, you get that part you were curious about which usually turns out to be a decent part anyways and everyone is happy. I have not heard of anything from lancer that isn’t halfway decent at a minimum…and no, that doesn’t qualify as a review.

It’s all in good fun, but think of the benefits. You get to try the part you were curious about and the next guy that wanders through here with the same question will be helped by the knowledge you gained in testing it. This came up years ago…and has actually been followed by many over those years. So the question is: are we going to have some fun?

The rule did not define how long you have to be around. It’s a simple rule, and gives a good excuse to buy something you want to try out anyways. He’s gonna get off easy with a brake.

As long as the carrier doesn’t bind when going into the buffer tube, it’ll probably just be cosmetic. This is one of the reasons we stress keeping the upper an lower from the same manufacturer. With no specs, you’ll likely get a better fit if both pieces are from the same shop using their own dimensions and specs.
