Good info , a few are installing the anti-walk pins with the drop in triggers , even with Aluminum Receivers . The Polymer is probably flexing .

Wow ! So the Lower is moving away from the Upper & thats just the AR 10 setting in. I don't think I have ever seen that in any AR . Sounds like soft Forging ( Doubtful ) or maybe they switched to a investment Casting or they had a bad run of them & won't own up .

Whats with the single groove polygonal rifling ? I saw a Barrel ( AR 15 ) that has single groove polygonal 1-7 twist , never heard of it before . One groove , shoot OK ? Strange ! I know most of the 1903's had two grooves , but one ?

His Barrel is ported & that will not help cycle light loads . In what shape is the Gas seal system in , is it old or dirty , gas ports for gas operating system clear & clean ? Is the Shotgun new ? I put a extra heavy recoil spring from Wolf ,to shoot slugs in my 1100 .

My question is , does BLM , NBP & the rest of the movement like them , think this is going to help there cause ? If the want a war , I dont think they are going to like the outcome . Chaos yes , but even that is not going to help in the long run .

I don't remember pressure signs , but I always make a notation in my reloading/Chrono log book if I do , so I will look today . When you go to the higher levels of the 4064 charge wt's its a compressed charge with 168's & above .

CCI 200 , Old WW 120 & Fed. 210 , might get better with the Match primers , but I don't use them , I don't think they are worth the extra price , but every rifle 's Chamber/Barrel are different 7 will probably produce different results , as I'm sure you know .

These are for 168 SMK , I have some 175's around here some where , if not I will get them from my loading/Chrono records .

As long as they are sealed & in kept in a good environment , they remain stable. Its when they get that funky smell is when they are unstable . The WC 846 I had was not pull down powder , they were still using it back then .

The new Springfield EMP 4 is appealing , a little more then what I want to spend & its non-compatibility with std 1911 parts doesn't turn me on .

This last batch of 5.56 cases I cleaned unfortunately will be using the last of my WC 846 Powder , I originally purchased 32 # of it in four 8# jugs (for $ 146.00 ). I've been using it for over twenty years , mostly for 5.56 & 308 , more so the 5.56 , will probably never see it out there any more & have found a suitable replacement in the using Ramshot , TAC , so will be making loads for 5.56 with it in the future , have been using TAC for 308 for a while now . Rally liked this powder , since I got all of it from one batch , once I got the charge wt. right ( there is no real loading data on this Powder ) it was the same from Jug to Jug , wasn't all that clean burning , but was consistent & that is what you look for in reloading , so fond farewell to WC 846 You've been good to me

Well the adding of the Isopropyl Alcohol made a big difference & now I can smell it again , like I used to . The feel of the Lube on the case is a lot lighter & still sized properly , I will probably have to add the IA as needed , because the unopened bottle is probably evaporated also , I will use it as a refill & mix as needed . I still used my Degreaser on the cases & it cleans them really good , should have used it from the get go , cases came out beautiful again & I think the Degreaser is cleaning them so good , that the water when dumping after three hours of tumbling ,is only slight darkness , still mostly clear , no where near as with out using it , it used to come out real black . I was going to look for another brand of Case Lube , because of my issue , but now I think I have this down , I will just use what I have & will look into it when I run out .

Damn & here I thought every PD was making the .40S&W std equipment , didn't know they were switching out & going backwards . Maybe thats why a couple of weeks ago while waiting for my wife's car to get serviced at the dealership & went into Gander Mountain next door , that they had a whole counter with used S&W M&P 40's in there , must have been a doz. or so . I though it was jus because of they were S&W's Well then , never mind , you guy's talked me out of it , I was never hot on the idea anyway , I 'll buy another 1911

Ok , I've decided to purchase a 40 for my next HG , not too crazy about having to set up for another caliber , but because of so many PD's & such have gone to this caliber , I feel a need to have one for a verity of reasons . I'm cheap , so not going with the big $$ Sig's or anything like that , I will not buy another S&W , though I like my Shield carrie & not sure of the Glock with its unsupported Chamber ( or have they changed that ? ) I like the Springfield XDS's , I have four & that my be they way I go , but what say you'all , give me some other choices or info . Thanks

To me the safe distance is what ever I feel I don't have a choice but to use deadly force , can't really say what that distance is or could be , because the situation determines this decision . I was shot at under arms length , almost point blank , i didn't have the time to even use my hands to block the handgun or even move in some way . He pulled the gun & fired into my stomach & the bullet hit my spine & dropped me like a stone , unable to move & he then pointed it at my head & pulled the trigger , but the POS gun a H&R 32 revolver , misfired & gave my friends time to tackle him & beat the $hit out of him & LEO came in almost right after ,because they were close . I was in a Bar & unarmed , but a couple years out from the service , He came up to me , probably because I was the biggest guy in the Bar , I was playing fosse ball & pulled the gun & put it into my stomach & told me to pull out something better , I told him I didn't need a gun & if he put his away , I would prove it , he laughed & walked away . That pissed me off , I went up to him at the Barr & asked his name , he said he wouldn't tell me & I said ok , someone here knows you & I will find out & walked back toward the Table , Bad decision & move on my part , really stupid if you think about it , I just thought he was another punk high on something ( he was on PCP ) & was showing off , something made me turn around & when I did, he shoved the gun in my belly & it went off . I was in ICU for eight days , six inches of my intestines removed & a bullet in the muscle tissue of my Spine , the last X-ray I had last year the bullet has moved about four inches away from my spine & I knew it moved & told them so . I relate this story only because , as I said in the beginning , I will draw & fire when I feel threatened no matter if they are armed or not . I aways carried a gun from that moment on , & i don't care what the law reads & always will .
