They are two different Springs , the one for the disassembly Pin detent is the same as the one for the Pivot Pin Detent , but the Safety Detent Spring is different & is stiffer . As seen below as the darker colored one .

That may be true , but maybe you just picked ( or were picked for you ) the wrong Doctors . I worked in the Medical field for a good part of my life & you find who to see & not to . I guess I'm partial , because I shoot with my Heart DR. & others like him , they are kinda secretive about it , but just like you & I about the passion we share .

I will never accept this as a price for freedom , when there are ways to stop most ,if not all of them from happening in our schools . Your right , we may not stop every single one , because of a chink in the armor of security , all are human & make mistakes , but with proper security , deter 99% of them & thats a win ! Hannity on Fox News said the same thing I said about securing our schools , its not about Just Guns & the second Amendment or about anti guns & anti second Amendment , its about security for the schools , just like a Federal Building or Court & its also about mental Health , the Hipaa laws ,as far as it contains to certain Mental health issues , all should be part of a back ground check . I trust my Heart DR. to tell me my Heart is fuk'ed up , why not trust a Dr. to tell your Brain is Crazy ! Its not rocket science when you say you hear voices & you want to kill people , is that the kind of people we want to have firearms ?

Mental health is part of it , everyone of these killers were on psych drugs & treatment of some sort , including this one , when he turned 18 , he walked away . Instead of just drugs , hospitalization & treatment in a mental facility until they were well & could manage in society & if not , some where to keep these killers out of society , which there isn't . & yes if your fuking crazy you shouldn't own a firearm ! You also cant compare fires & shootings , two different issues & two different requirements to combat them . Now there are ways to make Schools safer , it will cost $$ & man power . A fire alarm or fire door will not help a determined shooter , as was in this case , he used the fire system to get more targets ! There was a LEO on duty at this school , but he was unable to get to the shooter , because it is such a large campus , one LEO was not enough & the shooter probably knew where he would be . I worked at a Hospital & when tone particular duty LEO was on , he was by the hottest nurse & you could write a book on it , not saying this LEO was doing the same , but this POS knew the lay out & he planed it well & probably knew , at that particular time , where the LEO was & entered this large campus accordingly .

What no photos of the Blown up rifle ! There is more to the Kaboom then just Handloads , I'll bet .

This is the first one of these POS school shooters that didn't take its own life , so maybe we may learn something . I think it we should make it hard to get into our schools with a weapon , you put your bags through a X-ray machine to go on a Flight or in most federal buildings , what are our Children's lives worth . It will take a major undertaking , but there should be no reason for anyone to get into one of our schools to do harm . All you have to do is look to Israel for your answers , they dont have Terrorists getting into their schools anymore .

Isn't it about time we made our schools Hard Targets , this would be easy to do , all the $$ they are blowing in DC , you could train & hire ex-LE & Military , plenty of them to go around & secure the buildings . Its hard to cherry pick students or outside terrorists ( which is what this guy is , a Terrorist ) to watch them if they are problematic or has threatening instagram of FB posts .

Talk about old dogs & new tricks , I never used a Case Head Space Gage up until a couple years ago or less , until I had an issue with my new MEC press , sizing LC Brass , those here who use them talked me right into it ( pretty much told me I was an idiot , in their own way ) & now I have a Cartridge HS Gage for all my Bottle neck cartridges I load for . I highly recommend them if for anything , Safety & you will know your cases will fit in the Chamber , before you load a charge or Bullet . To add on what 98 wrote , the Case can show a ring above the web of the base & its a Case Head separation waiting to happen , something you really don't want at the range or Hunting , I found one the other day , I see if I can find it & photograph it .

I loaded a couple of these with 39.5 gr. of IMR 4895 , these weigh 170 gr. & I only have about thirty left , they are great shooting Bullets , I had 1K of them a couple years ago .

Home made Annealing set up , I was using the Torch for something else when the photo was taken . The Tie Wraps hold the Torch .

What kind of rifle , Bolt , Semi auto , 308AR ? Barrels Twist rate ? Never used that Powder , but what ever shoots the best , I try to get the SD close to single digits as possible , but that doesn't mean they will shoot the best groups , they will be consistent in their impact on the Target & predictable in some ways , more for long range . Just because you got a Powder cheap , doesn't meant it will shoot well in your particular Rifle , one Rifle to another may run better with certain Bullets ( even brand ) & Powder or even Primers , for that matter . Depends on what you want out of your ammo . A 149 gr. M 80 Ball ammo , out of my 20" 308 AR Barrel , 1-10 twist, avg. @ 2781 fps , so a 150 gr. should be about the same , thats not saying at the FPS it will be the best shooter out of your rifle at what ever distance you are shooting . Working up a load you need to pay attention to you fired Cases & not just the Primer . Its all about experimentation , your COL will not be much more then 2.800" if your Rifle is a 308 AR .

Good luck with that one ,it will take more then just following the constitution , just think about that for a min.. No where does the Second Amendment or any other part of the Constitution read that our elected officials have the right to ,what they say are common sense regulations or laws , But they still do it & the SCOTUS backs them up ,so there is only one way to get these & other rights back , unfortunately ! Not too many people in the USA really care if you or I have select fire weapons or are thats its a right under the Constitution !

I think they are talking about the ( 1 ) you added to the ( 75 gr. ) that would be a long .224 Bullet .

I have three stations , plus the Porch , one for Firearm Cleaning & Maintenance /repair/ building , one for Case prep ( I Anneal on the porch also ) & a reloading Bench with four Presses , including a Dillon 550B , Lee 1000( over 25 years old ) an old Pacific 007 single stage Press ( 40 + yr. )& my new MEC Marksmen single stage press & I have a RCBS Green Machine Progressive in 44 cal. (Packed away because of no room for it ). I have to get a new photo of my Repair /cleaning bench , I just changed it . I used to use wax for Fluxing & now use the Flux powder & the smoke is minimal now .

Thats a lot of Holster , the Light add on makes it look bulky . Nice set up though , I can see it as a Tactical rig . I carry IWB , so thats a little on the bulgy side .

I like your Bullet Casting area , good idea for the Range hood . I still do mine on the Back Screened in Porch . You don't have enough Reloading Presses for all that room .
