  1. I didn't think that at all , seemed to me you were looking for advice of the advice you got , which we know the advice you got was BS . Probably because of lack of experience on their part . Not your fault at all , if none of us ask , we will never get the answer .
  2. Hell, no A/C & I can't even open the windows , double fuk that !
  3. Yes they cover it all . They have a registration sight to fill out your serial number , but it won't take mine for some reason or another , maybe the sight is locked up , I will try tomorrow or call them or just wait a while & just shoot my new pistol . Which was going to be my new Carry Gun , now it has to wait for the upgrade to use it for that . I feel the need to buy another Sig or something else that catches my fancy , just to use in the mean time , till my P320 is ready .
  4. Its funny , the Blower works , the indicator lights show its in A/C mode , but no Compressor , has to be the Compressor Clutch is not being engaged . Thats some crazy $hit , now I have to get the manual & look at the wiring schematic . Hell if I had window operation , I could go to the range , but its 91 deg. & about 80% Humidity out there , I'll stay home & load ammo . I at first thought it was a blown fuse , but I have had that Gage cluster unplugged many times , to remove it to temporally fix this issue & no issue with any fuse .
  5. Not sure what years this covers , but I have had a issue with the LCD display for my Odometer , outside air temp. & Compass read out , its a rectangular display on the bottom right of the Gage cluster , so they want $359 & change for a new one plus a $ 300 core charge , that you don't get back until the company who probably just rebuilds them & sells them for new , gets the core . I found a place in South Carolina who rebuilds the whole gage cluster $ 149 & free return shipping , including the LCD display which is a known issue with my 2005 F150. The display will work above freezing & below 75 deg. , I have done all the online fixes & it just doesn't work , it does for a while , but soon goes away. What I found was , while I was going to take the Gage set to be shipped off is , the Truck starts , runs & all the safety things work , like lights , turn signals , but , no A/C , no Window operation & no radio power , with the Gage set unplugged , WTF , 12 volt power must run through the Gage wiring harness , I guess I could jump the power source , I have a manual , but why bother , the Gage set should be back by next Monday , they have a one day turn around , but two day shipping .
  6. And the Sig page for signing up for the upgrade is down , too many applying ? Did find out that Sig is paying for shipping , but no one is sure who is paying g for the upgrade.
  7. Whats the thing weigh . I didn't see it specified , even in the manual .
  8. And to answer my question about other Striker fired Pistols testing , Omaha came out with this video , a rather quick one , but he made some good points . Now thats interesting , not sure they tested that one
  9. Does someone test a firearm model after an AD ? I don't think so , because no one would carry a 70 series 1911 , if they did & almost all AD are operator/owners fault . You can say dropping any firearm is operator error , if it fires or not . The SigForum Thread on this started with the AD of the LEO you are referring to, last I looked at it it had about 55 pages , but quickly went into the P320 AD . The P320 in question was dropped about two -three feet, those video tests show five foot testing , why not twenty or 2K , if you get my meaning . Yes , once they found this defect in the P320 ,( if you could call it that , because it passed all testing , that all manufacturers use ) they should of right away , even before they published this video , should have tested others the same way , thats why it looks like they are fishing for something with this particular model or Brand . I'm really not sticking up for Sig , yes for my choice of Pistol , which has a sound reputation , till now , but I don't like the way this whole thing paned out , on both sides .
  10. I just registered my P320 with Sig , something i have never done before ( fill out warranty card & a survey ) The issues I have with the other Video's is , they seem to show a concentrated effort to find something , anything wrong with the Pistol Platform , not that its not its not a good safety concern , its how they had no comparison or even a thought that this may not be an isolated issue with other Striker fired Pistols . They seem to have zeroed in on the P320 & did everything they could to make it fail in some way , I can make any firearm fail if I want to ! The other issue I have with any testing video on the internet , is , you have no way of knowing what was done or any modifications to said firearm , you have to take their word that the test, the firearm are as they say . As I said , I don't know these people & don't have any idea of their likes or dislikes or what their qualifications are to conduct such tests . I would like to see engineers doing these tests , not someone who wants to put these weapons past their normal abuse , to make them fail . I really don't want to see a firearm tested beyond its designed parameters , I want it to be tested ,but not destroyed to make a point . To be perfectly honest , I have dropped locked & loaded firearms before & it may seem odd , but I actually expect them to go off , fire . They never have , but I cringe every time I have accidentally dropped one , holstered or not .
  11. Ohio ?
  12. I was never worried that the issue would be resolved , I could not get my personal P320 to release the Striker & I beat the snot out of it & dropped it , not sure if I had the angle correct or not , hard to get it to drop the same way twice . Is this the first Pistol or firearm that I have had a recall on, no , the ones I personally have had to send back , they have been repaired or serviced to my satisfaction. Hell , I had to send my PPKS back twice for them to get it right , but its a beautiful thing now , my S&W Shield had a Trigger recall two weeks after I purchased it & I carry it every day & don't have an issue with doing it . The Video was poorly done , the first thing I thought was , get out of the way , so I can see . There is an unconfirmed video out there that show the P320 being dropped from another angle & it goes off , but as I have said , I don't trust any of the internet BS & still say this is an effort to discredit this Pistol . I want to see all other Striker fired Pistols treated in the same way , because I think we all may be surprised at the out come , but they didn't , they put their effort into one design & manufacturer & it brought out all the Hate of those who don't like a particular manufacturer . Just go to the Sigtalk sight , anyone who had an issue with a Sig , as we have seen above , thinks Sig did this on purpose , Really ? The improvements according to most sources , including SIG , also include Slide modifications , so its just not a Trigger parts swap , so I'm confident Sig will fix this issue no matter what the haters say & I'm happy with my purchase , Sig was always a brand I wanted to have one of , just they alway been a little on the high price side for me . I found the P320 to be an interesting design & it had nothing to do with the military contract .
  13. Testing new upgraded components or parts .
  14. With a Commiefornia reg. rifle no less
  15. Auction or Gun shop , both will tell you what you might expect to get for them all or part of the collection .
  16. I find it odd that they can still sell a firearm after reading that ! Yes, I'm being sarcastic . I could make a list like that with every Pistol manufacturer , doesn't mean they believe their product will never be used or that they R&D'ed it for little little use & hoped they would be safe Queens ! There is no logical business sense it that thought train , seems to me they sold 500K of these Pistols , they don't seem, to be doing too bad . Hay, this is my first Sig, I find I have to defend my choice of Pistols
  17. Do you really believe that last statement ? Its not just the weight of said components , its also a very good light trigger , that helps in this drop discharge & many others , that go back many years with altered Triggers . This Pistol has a great Trigger pull , even better since I lubed her up with 98 Special . ( No I have not fired it yet , waiting for Mondays Press release , though the Soldiers system link summed it up ) I still think that someone was working over time to make this Pistol fail & make it look bad , 500K firearms in service & a couple AD 's , I would be willing to bet that you could force a AD on any striker fired Pistol . Unless you block that Striker from even coming in contact with a Primer , it a potential AD , of course you can carry it with an empty Chamber & this will not be an issue with any Pistol . In some ways thats an accurate statement if your life depended on it . As per the two LEO 's that had comments above .
  18. Heres some of my testing '

  20. Here the latest from some who met with Sig . http://soldiersystems.net/2017/08/08/sig-sauer-acknowledges-p320-trigger-issues-with-30deg-drop-m17-mhs-unaffected-announces-voluntary-p320-upgrade/
  21. What great timing for me Ya , but it seemed to pass the ultimate drop test , how many wars, has that Pistol fought in & men still want to use them for personal defense , that says something about the Firearm in general .
  22. I'm not crabby , I'm Pissed off ! I buy a Sig because they are highly recommended , ask which should I get , the P320 seems to be the right choice , I get it & then after showing it off , someone posts this video & shitstorm about it . Where was all this before I purchased one , its like it all waited till I had one in my hands . I'm not worried , Sig will repair it , if needed & my testing on my particular Pistol shows me I'm confident in using it as a carry gun , I have never had to beat my pistol up, to see if it was safe , never ! Have any of you ?
  23. WTF do they have Body Armor on for ? Afraid of the primer flash ? Maybe the Pistol will blow up . The safety glasses I can see using , good idea . I'm going to say it again , I wasn't there when they purchased the Pistol or what preps they did to do this video , this issue may be with certain Pistols , maybe a component failure when dropped like that , I want to see more Striker fired Pistols tested in this exact same manner . This could be a flaw in all Striker fired Pistols , no matter what Safeties it has . Its just strange they come up with this after the Pistol won the Militaries contract . I would like to know if its dropping the Striker or forward momentum is over coming the spring pressure on the Striker , like I said , I didn't have a primed case in the Chamber when I dropped mine . My Pistol was still cocked & pulling the Trigger dropped the Striker , at least it felt like it & sounded like it .
  24. Were you there when they did this ? I'm not trying to be a smart a$$, well maybe , so no offense , but I don't trust anything any more , period . Maybe I'm pissed because I just bought one , but I just don't trust anything I read or see , with a produced video , at all any more , until I get first hand knowledge ,or from a trusted source , I've never heard of these people making the video ! Well, I must be an idiot , but I just beat the crap out of my Sig , dropped it ,beat it against my wood Bench , smacked it against my hand as hard as I could , not once did it release the Striker . I plan on doing it again with a primed , empty 9MM Case , though I don't see how that will make a difference , but my conclusion with my pistol is , I couldn't get it to go off & I beat the back end of this Pistol pretty hard against the wood bench top , I actually thought I broke it once . OK , I'll ask my question again , how many other Pistol Brands did they test this way ? Why the Sig 320 , was it because of the LEO that got shot in the leg when he dropped a holster P320 ?
