  15. Training and having a plan is important but a situation like a terrest threat is more than most of us can deal with. Picking up a bad guys weapon may be a very bad idea because the LEO's will assume You would be the threat. If I would get stuck in a situation like that ,I sure would want an extra mag or two. Just to fight my way out. Events like this shouldn't happen until the next administration takes over and will happen in one of the "Sheepherder" cities, softer targets with less CCW presence. Terrorist plan ahead and want their event to be dramatic as possible. Televized sporting events, conventions, press conferences and other high profile events. Testing the leadership early into their term. That's something to think about !?!
  16. Welcome from AZ ! Go to Surplus Ammo & Arms and get the rest of your parts. They will help you piece together what you are missing. GTG in my book !
  17. I assemble two Wilson Combat framed 1911's this year for a customer. They turned out great , I got lessons from two different gunsmiths on mating the slide to the frame. Patience is the key also acquired some 10k grit paper and 5k grit paper for the trigger work, that make a big difference. Also getting the mainspring right and the link size is critical. But when its done right it just feels awesome. Its going to take a while to collect all the parts for my build, that should be fun.
  18. You guys already know how I feel about my Witness ! Future 1911 10mm build will be on a Caspian frame ,stainless steel goodies ... A BBQ gun I can be proud of !

  22. The only thing better would have been the footage of RoboCop to hop out of the cruiser and beat his @$$ with a 2 foot long double headed dildo. That dumb @$$ broke the windshield too !
