  1. Count it
  2. Again....bad tacos.
  3. I tried a standard FA and it hung up on two different BCGs.
  4. I just took the plunger off. Button is still there but doesn't extend into the receiver. If you want a functional FA, maybe order a upper parts kit direct from matrix or one of their dealers?
  5. Some of the best Mexican food this side of the border comes from trucks Hemi! But there are a lot of them. Sometimes you guess wrong, Theres a sonoran hotdog truck we chase around that is life changing...and his asada tacos are last meal worthy.
  6. That's how my insides feel after choosing the wrong taco truck
  7. I'd like to fight obama. I'd take lots of ribcage shots.
  8. Would some sort of thumbhole stock be legal? Like the old mak90 sportsters?
  9. There are some adjustable stocks that are solid. The magpul with the friction locks can be pretty good. My personal favorite is my LMT sopmod. Zero movement on my vltor extension. With that said, I like fixed stocks. Only difference is length, with A2 stocks having the spacer and being 5/8" longer. I prefer A1 personally. I use Cav Arms C1 stocks on 3 guns and like them a lot. I've used a VLTOR fixed modstock and liked it a lot. Its light and looks cool with options for sling points. I've also use an ACE skeleton stock. Super light and uses the buffer tube as part of the stock. The MAGS EFX stock looks cool and I'd like to try one out. Couple guys in here use the magpul with good results. Another option if you want to keep it short Is an entry length stock. Lots of guys use them in conjunction with a 1" spacer and say it's about perfect.
  10. Strang to think I was up watching hateful 8 while dude was laying in the street. I've slept in that house a few times. Pretty sketchy area. I feel really bad for his grand mother. She's sort of the family matriarch and always ends up with the kids/grandkids/greatgrankids that have nowhere else to go living with her. There are 4 generations in that house at times. She's taking it bad.
  11. First AZ murder of the year? This was my wife's cousin. Got killed this morning right in front of the house. Guy was a little "off" so no idea if it was random or not. Word on the street is some car pulled up, dumped 3 into him close range. Guy then got out and stomped him a few times before speeding off. Family ran out and did CPR but he was done. I didn't really know him personally but I'm close to his family. Hood poop. http://www.cbs46.com/story/30865529/man-shot-multiple-times-in-phoenix-dies-at-hospital
  12. Lol, I use a regular old bubble level on the top rail. I drew an X on my back wall with a piece of charcoal from the bbq grill and use an aluminum step ladder as a "cradle". Add in a FFP mildot scope and you are zeroed in 3 rounds when you get out to the range. Field(home?)expedient!
  13. ^^Few guys had that issue. I would search around the Aero build threads.
  14. Damn xcaliber ....good thing your gas port sizes are such a closely guarded industry secret! I'd hate for any other barrel makers to stumble across them and try them out.
  15. I watch it pretty regularly. One of those movies that never gets old. Watched revenant and green inferno last night wrapping gifts for the kiddos. Gotta say Amazon cannibal tribes are WAY more scary than zombies.
  16. Torch extinguished
  17. Had a rough year. Sold my Fulton 308, but I sold it to a family member so it didn't go far( actually, it hasn't even left my house yet) The dissy might be up on the chopping block as well.
  18. Totally never knew the words to that song...
  19. Have one on the 308. Works well but I prefer the metal ones. Not really a part I plan on removing, but install is easy.
  20. Ouch. They did screw up though.
  21. If you have a standard carbine extension, you need a 308 specific buffer and spring. Can you post a link to the barrel you are using? I didn't know rainier had a 16" rifle gas barrel.
  22. Cool article, but as he says, no 2 bullet wounds are alike. The ones he used in his comparison aren't really comparable.
  23. I think you can use objective diameter as a search parameter on the natchez website.
  24. Do you have an example? Not sure if I've seen any barrel nuts where the gas tube didn't pass through it. But also, the gas tube isn't suppose to lock a barrel nut down. It may keep it from rotating if it gets loose as a bonus function, but proper torque is what keeps it on there.
  25. It's a dealer option.
