  1. these are the dangers you face when you are a slingshot ninja.
  2. I came up on minor threat and misfits to be honest. my bike riding set lists are still primarily punk. I played guitar (poorly) in a pile of punk and hardcore bands. I was a drum&bass dj and also a big hiphop head. I had a wild and diverse youth lol.
  3. if it comes down to a few choice songs, I can agree. it was before my time, but castles made of sand is one of my favorite songs. if were going to look at the entire collection as a whole, Nirvana might have the edge. I have some import CDs that are REALLY good. and their cover of where did you sleep last night (lead belly) from the unplugged album was pure aural bliss.
  4. got the book right here on my shelf, near my framed copies of the rolling stones issue dedicated to hunter after he offed himself. also several books of ralph steadmans artwork squeezed up close to electric kool-aid acid test. I even have a nice old copy of keseys garage sale. my 'head collection is pretty decent. now the real question...do I prefer Nirvana or Hendrix. this is honestly a tough question. I must meditate.
  5. you can turn your back on a person.... pretty sure I can quote that movie front to back lol. I can do pulp fiction without missing a single scene. 2 of my favorite movies.
  6. I just posted a deal the other day for a viper 6-20x for $299. gotta strike fast.
  7. . buy the ticket, take the ride! oops, sounded like a 'head there for a minute....
  8. do my eyes deceive me....or do I see some black and tan in there. (and I ain't talking 'bout beer)
  9. if I remembered to rubber dip my STALK 3 years ago, I'd have alot more money for gun parts today.
  10. PM sent about investing my life savings in your endeavor. I really think you are on to something here.

    it's not tan????
  12. so say we all
  13. not sure if I'd go that far... but at least you know they will help you out if you have an issue. there are small guys that are as good or better than the big guys. just have to do your research.
  14. would a cav arms lower be considered monolithic since it has the stock built in? lol.
  15. my partner at work here is European...and might disagree with your blanket statement. one could make the same assumption about the US depending on which non representational "news" source you choose to believe.
  16. I'd go so far as to say they single handedly started the false shortage. they listed PMAGS at $90 the moment the news hit. blood wasn't even dry yet. those dirtbags saw the news and jumped on the phone rubbing hands together with dollar signs in their eyes. scum.
  17. JMs first try he only got 3 rounds off. started laughing, and said he needed to change his grip. second try was 5 shots rapid on target. he is a beast.
  18. those blue helmets make easy targets....hold a hair low...
  19. everybody with a CNC machine jumped on the AR bandwagon after the "troubles" hoping it would be a get rich quick scheme. part quality and customer service are all over the board with these little shops. sometimes you are just better off waiting in line for the name brand stuff.
  20. I was watching miculek videos yesterday and I saw him rapid fire a .500 made me think of all the AZ ladies who didn't want to shoot the .460 last time :P
  21. generally 308 is hotter than 7.62. not sure if there is an accuracy difference like in the .223/5.56 world. I would say that most premium ammo tends to be labeled .308 while mil ammo is 7.62 but I'm not sure if there's a physical reason.
  22. meh. CTD could offer me a rifle for $10 and I'd still tell them FOAD.
  23. my partner sitting on the truck with me right now took a 7.62x39 in the back while servicing an ATM in Oakland. the person assigned to guard him that day took one from the same rifle and died on the spot. just too many variables to give credibility to the "X caliber would have been better/worse" argument.
  24. although...a 7.62x54 AR would be awesome. THREADJACK....GO
