You would never know i'm poor lol. I sold a scope...and built a rife to sell using the takeoff parts from the donor stag to fund this beast. with the introduction of all these uninterrupted free float rails, the mod 0 setup is pretty pointless. It looks nasty though. And I've been lusting over it since before I knew what it was called. I've got a nice little stable so I think i'm done for a while. (yea right)

I'm pretty stoked on this. Its about as close to a dream AR as i'm likely to get.
How close is too close? I just finished a build and the scope objective looks to be sitting on the rail...but you can slide a piece of printer paper between them. its pretty darn close lol. Any issues with that? Am I good to go as long as there is no contact? Think there may be contact during recoil? I'm using my SS1-9x and PRI rings so its solid gear.
Any experience with diamondback tactical carrier? There's one local, like new, for $75. Complete with the cumberbun part. My friend has some ESAPI plates for me but my work vest just has some generic pockets so i'm looking for something modular.
Buddy gave me his spare parts to build it for him. A brand new in bag gas buster, a used but functional LMT sopmod, KAC rail panels, a surefire switch, and his takeoffs. Pretty dang good deal for me I think.
Well, 2 Weeks ago a buddy stopped by the house with his bare bones DPMS carbine. He handed me $500 cash and said "just call me when its done". Nothing like a blank slate with someone elses money!
