  1. Good thing kerry signed that treaty. We need the protection of the UN ASAP!
  2. I watched him read green eggs and ham lol
  3. Nice!! Will do. I have the exploded schematic. I'll figure out exactly what is missing on my next day off
  4. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-e-P4sm4nYyg/UkEBQ-GmyaI/AAAAAAAAADo/xkfNedHuP0s/s400/2013-09-23%25252019.50.07.jpg?source=androidclient Guy was listing P22 parts for $60 on a local forum. I was curious so I gave him a call. Turns out he decided to deep clean his functioning P22 without really having a clue what he was doing. While doing a total teardown, the pin that holds the hammer launched, never to be seen again. The gun sat in a airlock bag for a year until he decided to get rid of it. Best case scenario, I can spend a few bucks and get it running. Worst case scenario, I have a spare frame and slide and barrel and most other parts for $60.
  5. Back has a sticker that says they are paid for by auctioned off drug bust seizures. Funny, because I left the gun in the car for the appointment. Soon as I saw it I though it would be smart to lock the gun to the seat rails or something on those rare occasions I stash it.
  6. Took my little girl for a checkup today. On the way out I see a big box of cable locks. sign says free. I was suspicious and expected some questionnaire but nothing. receptionist just handed me one and smiled.
  7. That jet is so spectacular.
  8. . I had the pleasure of foreign weapons and foreign vehicle classes. Several Warsaw heavy MGs whose nomenclatures escape me. About 15 AK variants. Suppressed uzi and mini uzi Integrally suppressed Sterling (coolest quietest SMG ever) MP5s Suppressed MAC10 (most useless SMG ever) RPG7 All the normal US mil stuff. M249 M240 (God I love that thing) M2 Big stuff 120mm main gun (Abrams) LAW AT5 MK19 Also got an awesome class out in the sandbox. The SF team we were supporting dropped some explosives knowledge on us. We played with det cord, C4, dynamite. Learned how to make uli knots. Filled picket posts with C4 and disintegrated wire obstacles. Final project was an improvised land mine out a a 5gal oil bucket loaded with all sorts of nastiness. They set it in the back of an old shot up cherokee. The thing popped like a balloon.
  9. It was an example of why people should carry. It won't get much attention.
  10. I use a usgi section of cleaning rod. Its tough and won't bend, and the rough texture allows the drill to grip it tight.
  11. I use the old chamber brush in a hand drill. My 5.56 AR wouldn't cycle wolf until I did it.
  12. Its pretty darn tight. Doubt its going anywhere. im interested to see if it actually compensates at all. I plan to compare it to a mickulec and a A2 when I get it out to the range.
  13. Funny...but I want some 10 rounders! In 5.56 and 7.62. Not a very hot commodity here in AZ so none of the local stores have any.
  14. So...brownells seems to have hired doc brown in the shipping department, or possibly just rebranded the flux capacitor. Got my short brake today. Its.......short. Not sure if im feeling it. It doesn't quite butt up against the shoulder. I can chop it a little, or add a shim I suppose.
  15. 16 hits! Better to be sure!
  16. I was still hoping to snatch that beastie up. Havnt heard back.
  17. Good to see gearhog getting decent products again. It was cool when it started but fizzeled out
  18. The ice one looks to be about 1.25" longer. Not sure if it would make any difference. Probably not.
  19. Hey gnat. just saw this thing. Might be cheaper than having something machined? http://www.slickguns.com/product/ice-arms-30-cal-sunburst-compensator-45
  20. On my old 24" factory DPMS upper, the cam pin hole in the bolt was a tiny little bit off. Caused it to run really tight and have lots of issues including stovepipes and FTFs. Took me a while to figure it out. Like wash's extension, one tiny part can ruin the fun. Might take some trial and error to find it.
  21. I missed that part lol. I sit around at work during down time and practice. Just drop the hood and half draw. Do it over and over and over. I use the same safariland holster for both of my jobs. (P99/M&P) just to keep it simple.
  22. Derp. Got ya. Way thinking FT fire in my head.
  23. Just so I understand....when you say FTF....are you saying the round is chambering properly but not being ignited? Not chambering?
  24. .22. the .30 is .9 OD but its still only 1" long.
  25. http://www.brownells.com/userdocs/products/p_080000995_6.jpg Just ordered this for my dissipator. Its adorable! 1" long. .75 OD.
