Some of the CMP Garands are mixed parts.Mine is HRA with a Springfield trigger group.The only reason I won't do anything to the one I have is because of the date on the barrel.It shoots that all that matters to me.And it can use it in a sanction match as that was what it was used for by seller and dad.Get the rifle and tweek it if you want.New barrel's are not expensive.Fulton Armory and Orion will tune the rifle to whatever you want,or spend 2K for a new rifle from Fulton Armory or Orion.I been spending money on gifts for myself and the family but I would really like another.Go for it brother Neal <thumbsup>

The guy that was selling the one I got wanted $900.00 but took a trade of my RRA Coyote 20" HBAR instead.It was a win for the both of us.I had over 5K down the pipe when I traded.
