I'm very happy with my 16"-er Elite Operator. My preconceived notions have all proven wrong and I sometimes wonder why anyone would want a longer one. "I don't understand the aversion to the 5.56 round. There's a reason every NATO country uses it. A lot more of "them" have been killed by the 5.56 than we have been killed by the 7.62x39." There's a reason all the NATO countries are re-equipping troops with 7.62x51 rifles also. <thumbsup> In reality it wouldn't matter if we equipped our troops with .22LRs or .45-70s...we'd still kill a lot more of those naked-hand-ass-wiping cornholios than they would kill of us. Was with my buddy out in front of the highschool during lunch one day, sitting in his uncle's GTO convertible with a 400. Sitting about two car lengths behind us was a lime green charger with tires on the rear like that. We got done talking to whoever and Steve does a single-wheel burnout up to the stop sign, where he was waiting for traffic to be able to go. Then the Charger lit up both rears in a display that would make Don Garlits proud...full on burnout right up to the GTO's bumper, immense cloud of burnt rubber smoke wafting into the apartments, totally obscuring the people we had just been talking to. I looked at Steve, then he finally looked over and said "Wow! Would you look at that!" <lmao> Fun stuff Jon

ces777, Hoot went through the same thing with his RRA. Ended up modifying a DPMS wrench to get the nut off, as it was the less expensive option. RRA is frustrating to get information from, in my experience. Jon
