I've never had good results with any of the "in-barrel" sight alignment devices. By good I mean solid, repeatable. I agree with SS. Start close and get it close. Remember: MOA is mucho mas clicks up close.

The bad news is you should be shooting from the side on which your dominant eye resides, just like with rifle or shotgun. The good news is males' dominant eyes often changes in mid-life.
