  1. My wife has a purse fetish, she had her eye on it the whole night! You should have seen her when they called her ticket! <lmao>
  2. <thumbsup> Yeah, you'll fit in just fine with this bunch! <lmao>
  3. Well guys, we did it again! Went to this years NRA banquet last Saturday night and won TWO guns! And an NRA desk fan and a concealed carry purse. My wife won the purse and it came with a Beretta 21A .22LR pistol, and I got a Kel Tec PF9 which oddly enough, was the last gun drawn for, just like the shotgun I got last years was! The desk fan was a surprise. I had something like 80 raffle tickets to drop in buckets of the items I was interested in and most went into the buckets for the guns. I put ONE damn ticket in the bucket for that fan and it was the only thing I got off that raffle table! The other stuff we won was individual raffles. There were 7 people sitting at our table and we won 5 guns total! I may skip the banquet next year, there is no way my luck could run like that for 3 years in a row! <lmao>
  4. You know that when the Shadow Ops BCG comes in you're going to end up building another rifle around that DPMS BCG right? <lmao>
  5. Nothing new there, H&K has been using fluted chambers for years.
  6. My plinking load consisting of 45.5 grs. of Varget and a 147 gr. FMJBT (milsurp from Wideners at about $100 per 500) works out to about 48 cents per round.
  7. The soup Nazi! <lmao>
  8. Well MaDuce, I've always respected women and my son Josh went and introduced himself to the parents of every girl he dated in high school and asked permission to date them. I would say I've got every right in the world to expect my daughters and granddaughters and my wife and I to be treated with respect by any potential boyfriends! I'm sure as the fuk not putting up with any no class turd texting my granddaughter to sneak out of the house and meet him at a city park at 11:00 at night! I don't know what your background is, but if and when you have daughters I can bet you might sing a little bit different tune!
  9. Yup, already got it in the wishlist!
  10. My wife got some of that Pot Pourri and bitches at me because I don't use it when I finish my business! I told her that since I can't smell anything I forget! <lmao>
  11. Yup, gotta have one of those for sure! I'll probably order it in the next couple of days. I showed it to my wife and explained it to her and she agreed so now I won't get in any trouble either! <laughs>
  12. You fukkers deserve it, always derailing stuff! (whistling and looking up) <lmao>
  13. <laughs> I never had much of a problem with my daughters' friends. At 6'4" and toting a badge and a gun most of them were very polite! The granddaughters is a different story since I'm retired now. These two are giving me grey hair and there's a couple of little turds starting the 9th grade this year that I'm going to have a polite discussion with when school starts up and I go back to subbing at the high school! :bat:
  14. That does look like some fun stuff to me!
  15. You SOLD it? We don't do that around here, you should know that by now! You build a new rifle to fit that part! :bitchslap: <lmao>
  16. I've been using the CMC mags since Chip started marketing them, duty carry, concealed carry, competition and plinking. What I'm saying is I don't buy anything else, and I've never been disappointed with them.
  17. Patience Greg, you don't want to screw up the surgeon's work and end up back at square one. <thumbsup>
  18. Excellent read! Thanks for posting that Shepp! <thumbsup>
  19. Ordered one this morning! <thumbsup>
  20. ROFLMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. Nice lineup there CMMG! <thumbsup>
  22. Well, I decided to go with one of these for now; http://www.homedepot.com/p/Masterbuilt-2-Door-Charcoal-and-Propane-Gas-Dual-Fuel-Smoker-20050412/202904343?N=5yc1vZbx92Z1z0vo0x Those pellet smokers look like the cadillac of the smoking world but a little over my budget right now. I would certainly look at moving up to something like that when the finances are looser and I've gained some smoking experience though. I appreciate you guys' input and will probably be posting some questions in the Griiling thread once I get into this smoking business.
  23. Okay, I'm going to take the plunge and get a smoker and start learning how to use it. Question is, what kind of smoker? I want an upright and I don't need a combo smoker/grill. My opinion is when you start combining stuff both functions are compromised, besides I already have a grill. My little brother, who is a smoker wizard, has a smoker that uses charcoal or propane. He mostly smokes using charcoal and just uses the propane to get the charcoal going. All you smoker gurus, what are your thoughts on propane versus charcoal for smoking? Pros and cons? I know some of you can rise to the occasion and help me spend my money! <lmao>
  24. Yeah, he was a bit of a smartass and he could have done some things differently that probably would have gone a long way towards resolving the situation but the cops stepped over the line. I still think he's got himself a good lawsuit!
