  1. Wow! Starline doesn't even have any in stock! :ugone2far:
  2. Buy loaded ammo to build up your brass supply. It's more expensive, but a LOT more fun!
  3. Nice! I've got a Marlin in 44 mag, love that gun!
  4. Especially if some of these guys around here have anything to say about it. Buncha friggin enablers I tell ya! <lmao>
  5. They paid 3 huge dairies between El Paso and Las Cruces to shut down during that time! The dairies are now back up and running again.
  6. Have you tried Aleve? It worked really well for me.
  7. Alright, a wrestler! Wrestlers are usually pretty good kids, it takes a lot of commitment to be good at wrestling and it usually shows in their character. I've seen wrestling totally turn a kid around, my older son being one example. When he started high school he was a problem. He's now a Border Patrol Agent and the head varsity wrestling coach at the high school! That boy who was at the range with you has some good mentors! <thumbsup>
  8. Yup, you did! This is going to work out pretty good though. I'm going to pass on my Glenfield .22 rifle to him and get me a Ruger 10-22. The Glenfield was a gift from my ex (his grandmother) when we were still together. When I told my wife (who doesn't like my ex at all) my plan she said that was a good idea! I might even be able to get her to get me the Ruger for Christmas! Sometimes you can really take advantage of the jealousy thing! <lmao> <munch>
  9. And................now you know where to go for pizza the next time you go! <thumbsup> Glad you got to take a break though brother. Everyone needs something like that once in a while!
  10. Good job letting those boys shoot Shepp. You may have just planted some seeds there! <thumbsup>
  11. Sounds like you had a great time Rene, but I hate to tell you, you did not have the best pizza ever! If you weren't at Filippi's Pizza Grotto on India St. in San Diego then you couldn't have had the best. Just a few blocks from MCRD too! I've never been to San Diego without going to Filippi's at least once during the trip. http://www.realcheesepizza.com/web/locations/SD.html
  12. I'm sitting here trying to figure out how I can get another lower by the wife. She DID say something about building HER a rifle! :auto:
  13. Brownells has the Tactical Machining stripped AR15 lowers on sale for $77.99. I just got one of these a short while back and am in the process of building a rifle on it right now. Mine is very well made and I would definitely buy another one for my next project! http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/receiver-amp-action-parts/receivers/lower-receivers/ar-15-stripped-lower-receiver-prod55099.aspx
  14. Rob, you think the same way I did when I was still working! <thumbsup> BTW, one of my biggest pet peeves was someone who would not dim their headlights! If I pulled you over for that you were almost certainly getting a ticket for it! <lmao>
  15. Hell Jon, just put the mag extension on and let it stick out past the barrel. The 3 Gunners do it all the time. You'll look cool! <lmao>
  16. Might have been a rookie too! You should have seen me when I wrote my first ticket, I was shakin in my boots! <lmao>
  17. I remember that girl! She bit it BIG time and it damn near killed her. The guy piloting the bike she was a passenger on ran it up so fast she literally couldn't hang on and was BLOWN off the bike! That was some of the most horrific roadrash I've ever seen and that girl was in agony healing up! She is one TOUGH girl. that's for sure!
  18. There is already a thread here somewhere where one of the members did a lightweight build. Maybe someone younger than me who still has some long term memory can steer you to it. There was quite a bit of good info in it.
  19. Your depth of gratitude can't be any deeper than ours for your service brother! Semper Fi!
  20. I've been saying this for years. All those jobs that the illegal aliens are doing that they say US citizens won't do? Put the welfare recipients to work doing that crap to earn their benefits, take the money the employers of the illegals were paying them and put it back into the welfare system to subsidize it. And the illegals? Ship their a$$es back to where they came from!

    rant

Back in 2001 I had ear surgery to replace the little bones behind the eardrum that transmit sound. It was done on an outpatient basis and my copay was $100. Earlier this year when I went to the E.R. to fix my finger after sticking it in a tablesaw (3 stitches) my copay was $100 at the hospital, and the portion of the doctor's fees the insurance (same company as back in 2001) was whopping $800! That MF'er wasn't even in there 5 minutes, a P.A. did the actual work. Insurance companies have gone to hell in the last decade, and the prima donna doctors are raping us!
  22. Awesome news! Welcome back brother! <thumbsup>
  23. I have a gunsmith friend that can cut the threaded portion off the barrel and recrown it for free, Micro would just have to stick the barrel in a Priority Mail box to me and I would do the same back to him. Probably a little over a week start to finish. How long before you ship out USMCbassman?
