  1. Damn dust devils! And they can be pretty violent at times. Years ago one went through my neighbor's back yard and picked up their little 10'x10' storage shed, put it over a 4' cinder block fence and dropped it on my old 77 Electra-Glide!😡
  2. And shortly after that was when you, Crazy Mike, Dirk and Jon all came to Casa Grande to shoot with Josh before he went to Okinawa for two years! He still talks about that day!
  3. If that is all you got then reload it and don't worry about it! Most of us here have reloaded brass that was a LOT more buggered up than that!
  4. I have a set of pink AR furniture around here somewhere if you're interested in it.
  5. That looks like fun! I might have to come over and try it sometime! They have some really interesting matches listed on the site.
  6. It happens! I've been reloading for (damn I hate to say this, I'm getting fukking old!) over 40 years and I've pulled the same stunt, even when I KNEW better! Don't sweat it brother!
  7. Not a good time to be trying to put a build together! Bolt carrier groups seem to be a real bottleneck!
  8. Looks like everything they list is either out of stock or on backorder! This is a bad time to be trying to do a build! Will it get better after some time? Who knows! The political scene in this country is so fukked up right now it's unpredictable!
  9. You've managed to post this^^^^^ three times now! Just go ahead and sell it and get into the scotch!
  10. That came out great brother!
  11. That's probably his street corner!

I agree! If Dave Reideman is still the owner he will take care of you.
  13. That gun came out amazing! Tom has never charged me for a Cerakote job (he's done a few for me) but I try to throw some Cerakote his way when he is running low.
  14. Personally, I would take a needle file and clean up the burrs on the firing pin and try it. If the gun functions like it is supposed to, problem solved. Some of you guys are OCD'ing these things to death!
  15. You been holding out on me brother! That's some good info there!
  16. THAT is some funny schit right there!
  17. Yeah, and we figured out we like her more than Ron! Just kiddin brother, I for one, missed you not being there at the last shoot. That schit has to stop!
  18. Dustbuster, I have a friend who is just like you, always nitpicking whatifs to no end. We've been friends for several decades and are like brothers but sometimes I just want to smack him in the back of the head and tell him to STFU! Honestly, it can get aggravating and you probably don't even realize it, I know my buddy doesn't. Just lighten up a little bit and chill. You don't have a problem with realizing you went a little too far and apologizing for it, which is more than you can say for a lot of folks. I like that! Just back off the nitpicking a bit and enjoy the ride!
  19. I had just the opposite experience! I have a friend who is a machinist at White Sands Missile Range and he got me a bucket of W-W 7.62 brass that had been fired through an M-60. The primer pockets on that stuff were so loose I ended up taking a small pin punch and going through the flash hole on each case after priming them and pushing on the primer to see if it would stay in. I ended up schitcanning about 40% of that brass!
  20. I'm of the other camp, just dump the stuff in there and don't worry about it. It's all nitro based powder with basically the same ingredients, which are just tweaked to modify the burn rates. Like Albroswift pointed out, we do pretty much the same thing when we change powders in our powder measures. Whatever you decide to do, make damn sure you relabel that jug!
  21. That's a great looking rig and you got a god deal! I wouldn't have been able to pass that one up either! I gotta ask though, did you actually drink all that Crown!
  22. Sorry you had to go through all that Cliff but it is definitely worth it! We were lucky, mom went off with some guy and abandoned the girls with their stepfather. Their dad went to Arizona and got custody of them but brought them back to a home that wasn't much better. He had a druggie wife that was verbally and to a lesser extent physically abusive to the girls. The drugs were more important to him than the girls and he pretty much just dropped them off with us and that was it. We did end up having an attorney draw up papers giving us custody, which he had no problem signing. Filed them with the county court clerk and done! I thank God that there are a lot of these kids who have grandparents who care enough to do what we did! I was really hoping Tom would prevail with his granddaughter and hate that it didn't work out.
