  1. 61 here in SW New Mexico today! <thumbsup>
  2. I agree! <thumbsup>
  3. There's an area called the 'T' zone that anyone reasonably proficient with a handgun could hit at that range. Draw a line across the eyebrows and down from the center of that to the chin. Anything in that zone is an instant stop, no muscle twitches, reflex reaction or anything, just a drop like a stone! I'm sure Tom or any of the LEO's here can verify that!
  4. <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>
  5. Just like 9-11, I will never forget! <thumbsup>
  6. Is this mag listed with any dealers yet?
  7. One day in class the teacher goes around her asking each of her students this question: What do you need at home? Joey says, "A computer." The teacher replies, "That would be very useful." Jimmy says, "A new lawn mower." And she gets a similar response. Little Johnny pops up and says, "At my house we don't need nothing!" The teacher asks him to think again carefully because everybody needs something. Little Johnny replies, "No I'm sure. When Obama was re-elected, I remember my dad saying, 'Well, that's the last f*cking thing we needed!' <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao> <lmao>
  8. Glad that stock worked for you brother! <thumbsup>
  9. Being a retired LEO and still active in the law enforcement community it is my opinion that the majority of rank & file officers will refuse to be involved in any gun confiscation actions. Law enforcement administrators :strokin: are the ones making all the noise!
  10. I would too Tom, but my Doc is a really great guy and has helped me out in the past. When Josh injured his shoulder a month before the state wrestling championships he got the boy squared away, if you know what I mean. ;)
  11. Doc might be able to ask me if I have guns in the house, but that doesn't mean I gotta tell him anything other than 'None of your business!' :thefinger:
  12. Hope the citizens of New York state can pull it off! <thumbsup>
  13. No, that takes a serious dose of stupidity! In that situation I would have dropped him when he first pulled the gun! There was no cover available for the SRO in the lobby, which means no discussion in my book. If hard cover was available then dirtbag gets one warning to drop the gun. Noncompliance results in being shot!
  14. Great video! <thumbsup> What the thick headed people who are bitching about using Obama's kids in it aren't getting is that it's not about the kids, it's about the double standard being set by the ' :puke: elite :puke: ' of this country.
  15. Pretty much any low profile gas block with a .936 I.D. will work on your barrel and fit under a mid-length or rifle-length handguard.
  16. Hell, I would too! But then,................I'm easy! <lmao>
  17. Rene, what has happened is the lazy assed 'entitlement' bastards have finally outnumbered the working class at the polls and will put whoever will support their sorry asses in office. We are fucked!
  18. That is exactly what I did. I picked up a low profile gas block on gunbroker.com and our very own Matt hooked me up with a DPMS rifle length vented handguard (I didn't want any rails on the handguard). The rifle looks much better!
  19. Gentlemen, our federal government has gone rogue. The question now is what is going to be done about it?
  20. The Wilson mags also use the parallel feedlips, as do pretty much every mag on the market now. Wonder why that is? <dontknow> Maybe the tapered feedlip mags are a solution to a non-existant problem.
  21. Screw Cuomo and screw his lead by example bullpoopy! :loser: :thefinger:
  22. I can not believe the mainstream media actually reported this! http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/130226.html
  23. As I was reading the title of this post and before I could even look at the original poster 'Tom' popped into my head! Imagine that! <lmao> I'm not laughing at you my friend, I'm laughing with you. Glad you're home safe and it's a relatively cheap fix. <thumbsup>
  24. Interesting read over at Policeone.com; http://www.policeone.com/media-relations/articles/6087399-Police-departments-facing-ammo-shortage-nationwide/ The comments are even more interesting than the article. You have to be active or retired LEO to be able to post. Note that there are at least 2 comments about refusing to be involved in any kind of gun confiscation. There also seems to be quite a bit of speculation as to why the feds have made such large ammo purchases recently!
  25. Well, I've been using McCormick (AKA CMC) mags ever since he first came out with them, even in my 'short' Officer's model. I've always had good luck with them using my reloads with the H&G 68 type bullet, ball, thuncated cone FMJ and a variety of hollowpoints. I've had several of those tapered feedlip military style mags in the past and they pretty much all ended up in the trash! My 45's will feed an empty case from a CMC mag! Everybody has their own preferences and reasons for those preferences, I'll stick with my CMC mags. Rene, if you want to try some CMC mags in that Sig let me know and I'll send you a couple of mine to try.
