  1. Did anyone notice the hooker with the cocaine on her butt looked like Hank Hill's niece?
  2. Maybe they figure there's less chance of getting a nasty sunburn in the fall! I can tell you right now Matt, the green chili is gonna be good!
  3. The beer situation is better in Tucson but we can make do! I should have something on tap from 1912 for sure.
  4. Hell yeah!!!!!!!
  5. Whatever barrel length you go with, use a pistol length gas system, especially if you plan on ever shooting subsonic. The gas system length is determined by where the gas port is drilled and the gas block mounts on the barrel and has nothing to do with whether the gun is configured as a pistol or rifle.
  6. I've been running plain old GI mags with no problems. I've used some Magpul 30's too but I don't know if they are Gen 2 or 3. I'm just now getting into loading the heavier subsonic bullets and it's my understanding that's where mag problems start cropping up so my experience with mags may be worthless!
  7. That right there would be the more likely motive!
  8. That is some great photography! Nice parts too!
  9. Rene, you need to quit looking at gun parts for a bit and start saving some money so you can come down here for some R&R when you retire!
  10. I'm in agreement with the judge on this one, that douchebag has no business having a CCW! Crap like this is why I keep saying if you're going to take on the responsibility of carrying a firearm you also need to take on the responsibility of knowing what is considered the legal use of that firearm and the schitstorm you'll put yourself in if you do use it, even if you're within the law!
  11. Okay, so lets say Soros buys all the gun companies and then shuts them all down to keep us from getting any more guns. That leaves a BIG unfulfilled demand for firearms, right? We have money to spend and there will be a lot of folks sitting around with Soros' money in their pockets and no job, wondering what to do next. Why, there's a bunch of people out there who still want to buy guns, I think I'll start another gun company to take advantage of that! It's a proven fact that when something is unavailable to people they will pay 2 or 3 times the actual value of that item to get it until supply catches up with demand and those with the means to meet that demand will work to take advantage of the profits created by it. Buying all the gun companies to keep people from having them will never work in a free enterprise state and I'm sure Soros knows this. I'm not worried in the least!
  12. Just found out this last weekend that my son's father-in-law, who is a former marine and owns the 1912 Brewing Co. in Tucson, brews a beer that is infused with Black Rifle Coffee! It's pretty damn good beer too!
  13. Well damn, another New Mexico officer killed. Navajo officer shot yesterday and was airlifted to UNM Medical Center and died a short time later. This makes 5 NM officers in 9 months, 3 shot and 2 from vehicle accidents! I'll be delivering a check to his family sometime next week but YOU GUYS are the ones who make it possible!
  14. Just sent you a PM brother!
  15. Nice build JT, you're going to have fun playing with that one!
  16. Liar liar pants on fire! http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/hot-story-miami-lawyers-pants-erupt-in-flames-during-arson-trial-in-court/ar-AAo4wZl?li=AAn4eAA
  17. Damn, that's a good looking start pyzik!
  18. Damn, and I bitch about the wind here! On another note, this pic was taken Monday night in Hutchinson KS, the fire line was about 1 mile from my brother's and sister's houses. They called for evacuation but the wind shifted and both of them stayed at their homes. Fortunately the fire moved away from them. I think they are still putting out hotspots from that one!
  19. Got it brother, tickets are in the mail! Thank you!
  20. Sardog, whether you have an Armalite or DPMS upper has absolutely no bearing on what buffer and spring you use! The question is, do you have an Armalite or DPMS length BUFFER TUBE? The Armalite tube is 7&5/8" internal length and will use AR-15 carbine buffers. The DPMS type buffer tubes are 7" internal length (same as an AR-15 carbine buffer tube) and require the use of the shorter DPMS 308 buffers and springs.
  21. PM sent brother!
  22. I'll have them with me brother!
  23. LOL!!!! Back in the revolver days I used to see cops shove empty 38 Special cartridges in their ears at the range for hearing protection. I bet that worked really well! I had bad enough hearing loss and tinnitus early on from ear infections when I was a kid that I never shot without proper hearing protection.
