  1. Another one from my old Captain at pistol qualifications; That sonofabitch couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if he was standing inside of it!
  2. You forgot the last part brother "and they all stink!"
  3. That boy could tear up a steel anvil with a rubber mallet! That boy could tear up a steel ball bearing just carrying it around in his front pocket! My first wife's dad talking about two of his boys! That schithead would climb a greased flagpole to tell a lie rather than stand on the ground and take a $5 dollar bill to tell the truth! My old captain from the P.D. talking about an officer we worked with!
  4. Anybody that would do an 8000 RPM neutral drop on a C4 transmission deserves to see it lying all over the ground! Just sayin..............
  5. Yup! I remember those days!
  6. Damn, retails for about $200 more than an Eotech!
  7. There's been some discussion over on 300blktalk.com about the CFEBLK. One of the forum members got an advance sample to test and the accuracy wasn't looking too good. Personally, I'm not buying any of it until there's more real world info out there on how it is working. I've been using IMR 4227 to load both supers and subs and it works great for me. Some have said over at the other forum that 4227 is quieter and a LOT cleaner than 1680 for use with subsonic loads.
  8. Barrett, I bought one of Anderson's 16" barrels for my Matrix 308 build. Fit and finish were great and so far function has been good too. I can't tell you what kind of accuracy it's delivering because the only shooting I've done is function testing and break in. I haven't had a chance to put it on paper yet, been busy with the holidays and such and now the damn wind is starting to blow here and will probably continue through spring like it usually does.
  9. That's what I was thinking too. I use 45 grains with a 145 grn FMJBT and I get flattened primers with that!
  10. Yuuuuup!!!!!!! I could tell some stories!
  11. I've had two and both worked extremely well. The second one I've been carrying concealed for the last 20 years and that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't deadassed reliable.
  12. Bwahahahaha!!! I love it! The old guy had his poop together for sure, the younger guy not so much. Old age and cunning trumps youth and enthusiasm every time, not that the young guy showed any enthusiasm for handling the situation. If he's not family I would be letting his ass go and find an employee that has some idea how to gunfight!
  13. Mike's highschool pic!
  14. Exactly what was needed. Now if the court system would do away with all the endless appeals B.S. and carry out the sentence in a timely manner it would be great. I'm not against an appeal when the court can be shown good reason but this case is extremely solid and the first appeal should be the last too!
  15. Yup, dogs don't have thumbs!
  16. If you're okay with spending more than what an entry level DPMS costs then look around and find the rifle that has the most features you're wanting that is in your price range and go with that. I guarantee that after you've had it a while you'll want to upgrade stuff, especially if you hang around this forum and listen to this bunch of enablers! You will not find a group of more knowledgeable and helpful folks on the 308 AR platform than these guys but they WILL help you spend your money!
  17. If you're wanting to stay somewhere in that area take a look at the Farmington, NM area. Still close to the Colorado Rockies AND to S.E. Utah which is great for motorcycle riding. I know, I've spent time up there on my bike!
  18. Jon, I'm too damn lazy to weigh each charge! Set the powder measure and check it about every 100 rounds to make sure it's still where it's supposed to be. That's how I roll!
  19. You fukkers are really making me want a 9mm AR, and I don't even reload that stuff! And......if I do it it will have to be an SBR so there goes another $200 down the tube! And.....then I'm gonna want a can so there's ANOTHER $200 plus the cost of the can!
  20. You're right there! That thing would be great for someone who does a lot of volume reloading!
  21. Sonofabitch! Way to rich for my blood!
  22. I've never used it but I'm considering it. How does it meter through the powder measure? The coarser powders give me fits and make enough of a mess on my Dillon 550 that I don't want to mess with them even if they shoot good!
  23. Rene, you are probably one of the toughest fukkers I've had the honor to know. Don't think I could have done the poop you've done to make a living brother!
