GG, I didn't have any problems at all with the PSA kit on the Anderson lower. I think the fitment issues are only with their 308 platform. I haven't heard of anyone having issues with their AR-15 stuff.

Palmetto has full kits minus the lower receiver for $379 on a regular basis and you can pick up an Anderson lower for $40 if you look around. $420 to build an AR-15! I've done it, only mine has a bumpfire stock on it instead of the one that came in the kit.

I have a Kimber and trashed that Swartz safety! I have also removed the Series 80 safety from every Colt 1911 I've owned that had one. These guns worked for decades without that garbage and as far as I'm concerned, it's just something to fuk up right when you need the gun the most, as you found out.

This incident happened a couple of blocks from my niece's house. She sent me an awesome text today to tell me how much she appreciated my years of service on the force here, where she grew up. She and her dad (my ex-wife's brother) have had a lot of problems through the years and she still considers me part of her family and a second dad to her. I sure do love that young lady! This whole situation sucks for law enforcement, and the news media fuels this fire more every day! They have the blood of every officer killed over this 'black lives matter' crap on their hands! I am sick to death of the bias shown toward law enforcement by the media in this country. I hate to say this, but I think this is going to get a lot worse for LEO's before it's all over! She is some kind of athletic clothing designer. We get to meet her Labor Day weekend, Josh is bringing her home to meet the folks!
