I had good luck with these extensions in mine; https://www.taylor-tactical-supply.com/sw-mp22-18rd-mag-upgrade-p/200-18rd-mp22.htm

I haven't had anything not fit yet.

Since they stopped making the Mech Armor Tac-ops handle I have been getting extended latches from Strike industries and Badger Ordinance and installing them on standard charging handles. Lots of different styles available; https://www.primaryarms.com/strike-industries-extended-charging-handle-latch-si-ar-latch https://www.primaryarms.com/yankee-hill-machine-ar15-tactical-charging-handle-latch https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Badger-Tactical-AR-15-Charging-Handle-Latch-GEN-1-p/badg-249-02.htm

More likely all those fancy tools exist cause guys like me that aren't gunsmiths need good jigs and tools to stand a chance of getting it right...................or at least we think we do.

It's been some time since I upgraded so I don't remember all the specifics but I think I did it for more reticle and bullet choices built in, something convinced me to spend $14 anyway. I really can't say there was much difference for me thinking about it now. Do like I did and run the free version for awhile and see what you think.

Check out some ballistics apps. I put StrelokPro on my phone. Program in your specifics and it will give you the numbers, even simpler it will show you the holdover on your specific reticle. https://www.google.com/search?q=strelok+pro&hl=en&sxsrf=ALeKk02HWZI-Lpu5HNlnrJbrERL3rWh15g%3A1617818937863&source=hp&ei=OfVtYM3UMfSE9PwPueeagAs&iflsig=AINFCbYAAAAAYG4DSSaSZUNSR_2Ppvw-hoTbcY7AW-4x&oq=strelok&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAEYATIFCAAQsQMyAggAMgIIADICCC4yAggAMgUIABDJAzICCAAyAggAMgIIADICCAA6EAguEMcBEK8BEOoCECcQkwI6BwgjEOoCECc6BAgjECc6CAgAELEDEIMBOggILhDHARCjAjoLCC4QsQMQxwEQowI6BQguELEDOggILhDHARCvAToLCC4QsQMQgwEQkwI6CwguELEDEMcBEK8BOgQILhAKULAPWMofYIgyaAFwAHgAgAFtiAGOBZIBAzUuMpgBAKABAaoBB2d3cy13aXqwAQo&sclient=gws-wiz

Yeah, I would say not field serviceable. I always lusted for a Noveske Switchblock but glad I waited, this seams even more versatile.

It might not be as easy an install as the cartridge type triggers but the LaRue MBT trigger is not hard to put in and about the best bang for the buck on aftermarket triggers, they are real popular around here. https://www.larue.com/category/parts-accessories/lower-parts/triggers/

and the BAD lever will not work on this combo, Aero lower and Vltor MUR upper, upper is a bit thicker than standard, plenty of relief for the standard catch but no extra room behind it for the BAD.

Something to watch for if you mess with an adjustable Seekins gas block like this. The directions are in depth on adjustment, seemed pretty thorough for install as well. They come with two levers, a long and a short. I wanted the long one as this rifle will be used mostly with gloves on. The directions call out not removing the metering screw all the way as there is a spring and detent, I was careful but the lever had a real rough feel when I got it back in, looked on the bench and saw a tiny little ball bearing like the extra one in the box, crap. Pulled it back apart and this time had to pull the metering screw all the way out and see if I ruined the spring, there sat the ball bearing right on top the spring where it belonged, where the hell did the other one come from then???....... turns out there is a little ball bearing that goes between the set screw in the lever and the metering screw, locks the lever into a groove on the screw, not a mention of it on the directions.

I fumbled with some parts this afternoon, swapped rail choices, going with Odin Works O2 lite, it is light and the Wilson was longer and too tight on the gas block. It has the funkiest barrel nut system I have seen, two parts, anchor block threads onto the upper then the barrel nut threads into the block. The gas tube alignment has to be dead on, the passage for it in the block is TIGHT, had to work it in and out a couple times to get to the point it will slide through. They provide an alignment pin but I must be missing something, only the small stepped down portion actually fits in the block or in the guide in the upper, I assumed the rod would sit between the block and the upper holding them in alignment while torqueing the nut, not sure what they have going on since the rod doesn't pass through anywhere it would need to. Guess I'll find out how well it works when I get the 1 1/4 crows foot, figures, I have the next two larger and the next two smaller size wrenches.

Top quality kit, in this day and age a grab it before it's gone deal.

Sir Mocha, Mocha Stout from Exile Brewing in Des Moines, Iowa. You get a little mocha latte aroma. And yeah it drinks like a cold mocha latte with extra shot of espresso but on the less sweet side. Only the finish lets you know you are drinking a stout with that roasted smoky malt hint.

Good Deal -
No problems here, I stick with known quality lights and batteries. Good batteries have protection built in, most of the issues that are documentable are from cheap chinese batteries.

Wonder if that port size was changed by Criterion on purpose or just an error, seems to be a good bit smaller than we have historically seen. If or when you drill it up put a wood dowel in the bore to prevent any slips. I use a little cutting fluid and a cordless drill, keep double checking as you go and you'll be fine. -

What do you have on order or in the mail? Part 2

I've had one of those compact splint things on need to get list for a while but just never pulled the trigger, seemed like they were all so injury specific. This one may be a little more versatile, the Jeff Randall endorsement didn't hurt either. https://eseeknives.com/forums/index.php?threads/buy-this-product.12690/ -
I need to mock up what I have to confirm what I want for a gas block........ IF I don't decide to dump a little stimulus dough on a carbon fiber HG, part of me says don't throw money after a fancy part I already have covered from a quality maker, the other side says fuk it, in for dime in for a dollar..... gotta work out my Sybil issues. I did grab more Grendel food today, don't want her going hungry when she does come to life, slim pickings on it, this schit is $34.99 a box but it's on the shelf, was getting it at around $27 just a couple months ago.

Very cool! My Dad used to have them walk through his front yard eating by the dozens, except of course during hunting season. Something about that analogy is a little disconcerting, is the end game the same for all? I do love some turkey...........
