  13. -Larue makes some really nice stuff. I don't own one but I've shot one (one of the other brothers on the forum here owns one) and they're nothing but quality. -Seekins. I, personally haven't handled any of their large frame AR equipment. Though I've built a couple rifles using their smaller frame (AR-15) lowers and parts. -Wilson Combat is known for their quality in weapons in general. But again, I haven't handled any of their 308 platform AR's. -Armalite. Well, being that I'm the "Armalite pusher" around here, I would tend to be a little biased in their direction. I've got one SASS that I absolutely love, and another that's waiting to be built (when I finally get the time). -JP. I've heard nothing but good stuff about them, but we're back to me not personally handling any of them. -Georgia precision. I've never heard a bad comment made about any of the rifles that they make. They make just about all of their stuff for extreme precision. Once again, never had a chance top play with any of their stuff though. This is the AR-10 B SSASS, outfitted with a Nightforce Optic and an AAC suppressor. I've since swapped out the UBR stock for a PRS stock.
  14. Damn! That is a steal my man. My son bought one of those years ago, and they were 2 grand then. Good find brother. As long as everything is legit.

  20. Welcome aboard, from MD.
  21. She's lookin good.
  22. Noting wrong with the UBR stock. It adds a little weight, but the balance is nice. Solid as a rock. At least mine is.
  23. Hey Shepp! C'mon now brother......everybody around here knows that I'm the Armalite fanboy. Or at least, I would think that five of them would put me solidly in the camp.
  24. I think we all know the story of Eugene on this site my man. I think the guys have just been needling you on it. Hell, I'm one of the big Armalite guys on the site (thus the Armalite pusher) and for years I've referred to the pattern as the SR25/DPMS pattern, compared to the Armalite pattern. This has turned into another one of those "Ford vs Chevy" type of conversations. Some of us have one or the other (rifles that is......I'd never own a chevy ), while some of us have dabbled with both platforms. I've bobbed and weaved on both sides of this line. Where I prefer the Armalites that I've built. I appreciate and enjoy the SR25/DPMS patterned rifles that I've bought. I've still got a Black Rain set (SR25/DPMS) that I still need to put together, and I'll enjoy that one too. But that's also coming at it from a builders perspective. We do have to point out the differences from the two. If nothing else, just for the totally green rookies that are just getting into the large platform AR. But I'm tired of the pissing match that seems to perpetually keep going. Just like the "Ford vs Chevy" pissing match. And THIS is brought to you by the official (of this site) Armalite pusher. Oh....and for the record.......I'm an Armalite 10B guy. We don't need that stinkin A pattern.
