  1. Just outside of Washington DC. Even though my area is fairly quiet...it's still considered "the hood" section of Maryland (pronounced properly as Murlann <laughs>).
  2. Steiner glass? Bet that looks good on top of that mother.
  3. ^^^^ Good deal my man. Sometimes I feel like I'm out on an island all alone around here. <laughs>
  4. I swear that Shibi is wasting his talent. He's a stand-up comic hiding inside a machinist/weapons builder. <lmao> CMMG. <laughs> You actually want to send this poor Norwegian down that Fuked up road? Even his country realizes that those things are $hit, and didn't even let them on the list of 4 approved rifle manufactures. Freezingduck..........Armalite all the way. Pay no attention to that joker from Arizona. <laughs>
  5. ^^^^ <lmao> I couldn't stop laughing. Good find brother.
  6. Nope. My only affiliation with Armalite is the number of their products that I have. <laughs> Just a fan. As far as the enabling part, the other guys tagged that name on me. For reasons, of course, that I don't know why. <lmao>
  7. Welcome from MD.
  8. And do I really need to throw my 2 cents in on this one? I think we all know which one that I'd suggest. <laughs>
  9. Hey! How did I turn into the community punching bag on this topic? <lmao>
  10. Welcome to the funhouse. Check your wallet at the door.
  11. Not sure, but I think that he may be referring to the "throwback" 10B. The original Stoner design with the brown furniture, and the charging handle located inside the carry handle. They were making them for a couple years. Somewhere around 2008 (or so) is about the time they discontinued making them.
  12. The original design is what Armalite still uses. It's the cotter pin type design. And no.......I'm not being biased. <laughs>
  13. Dude. I feel your pain. Trying to piece this thing together. We've all been there.
  14. As Shibi would say.......................................
  15. Just change the block and be done with it. Much easier that way.
  16. Damn man. No reason to be calling me out. <laughs> I never said that my beloved Armalite AR-10's were milspec. Just because they were the original design. Just because a gentle genius named Eugene Stoner designed them that way. Just because they were later watered down to a 5.56 platform. Just because.......................................ehhhh...........nevermind. But I've gotta thick skin. (chesire cat grin)
  17. No. You may finally be retired. But you'll ALWAYS be a sheetmetal worker. that explains your hearing <lmao>
  18. Welcome from MD.
  19. Or some kind of inflatable device.
  20. The important part of that statement was "back to the cooler", or "to the bar". After all, that's where the real action is gonna happen. <laughs> Dead beer cans all around! <lmao>
  21. Yep. I gotta agree. I don't ever even think about cleaning the gas tubes. Like others have said, they either clean themselves out, or are cheap enough to replace if need be.
  22. Welcome from MD.
  23. Welcome to the asylum wetncold.
  24. ^^^^^ Hmm. Lemme check my "warning points" count, and I'll let you know. <lmao>
