  1. Brother's got a point. Hang in there my man. It took a good couple years for me to get out from under my Ex. Funny thing is, that we get along better now than we ever did back then.
  2. Unforgiven is absolutely right Pokey........RRA is proprietary. <laughs> Everything else..................................... <dontknow>
  3. Some 10 round AR-10 mags from Armalite that I'm gonna need for a "SPECIAL" trip in May.
  4. AR-10 carbine upper, UBR stock and a EOtech 553. You could probably put this all together for around 1500. Less if you're patient and keep your eyes open. An ACOG is gonna add at least another 500 minimum. I think I paid about 13 (I think) for my TA11E, and that was a while ago. But that way you could keep the SASS upper for whenever you felt like stretching out.
  5. AAC Brakeout. I run these with the CAR10-XH buffer setups from heavybuffers on my 10 SASS, two different 10 16" carbine's, and my 10 12" SBR. I also run them on my 5.56 guns also. Part is for the QD for the can, the other is for recoil without it. These things are nice, even if you didn't need them for the suppressors.
  6. Welcome to the fold sniper.
  7. And the bipod push continues. <laughs>
  8. I've got a 686 w/6" barrel. Nice shooter. I also put a Hogue grip on it in place of the Walnut that came with it.
  9. Maybe he likes the taste of brass. Welcome to the forum gumby
  10. ^^^^ One of the reasons why so many of us run his parts in our rifles.
  11. Welcome aboard Jose.
  12. Just for right now. Because Armalite is running their St Patricks day sale. Prices will go back up after that. Nothing wrong with Pmags.......nothing wrong with the Armalite proprietary steel mags (I've got a pile of both of them). Just different....that's all. This was just a way to get you into a functional rifle (nice one at that) for around $1000.
  13. I've been going back and forth with Homer Jay through PM's. He's been asking about my 10 SBR. And he's trying to find a rail that will give his a similar look to mine. You know.....the MK18 style of look. So it sounds like we got a brother in need of help from all the ladies around here. So.......let the search begin for a rail for a 12.5" barreled 10 SBR. And Homer, my rail length on mine is 11". Like I've said, it was made by Ranier.....but I don't think that they carry it anymore. It was made by Samson for Ranier.
  14. Then you're definitely in the right place. <thumbsup>
  15. Nope........not gonna let you bait me in with that.
  16. Check out the reloading section my man. Tons of info there.
  17. Welcome aboard novamark. Plenty of categories to choose from on the site. Find something close, and blaze away with any questions. That's one of the purpose's of the site. Information exchange/advice/ways to help lighten your bank account. We can help with all of that. <laughs>
  18. Welcome aboard Jose.
  19. :enguard:
  20. So do I. Haven't done mine for the year yet though.
  21. No wonder he's so shiny. Just like the tip of a .............................................................................
  22. Maybe. But you're gonna get the same amount of rifle, if not more (yep....I'm kinda biased....I admit it) out of the Armalite. Like I said......just throwin it out there.
  23. Nice to have a little leverage........or backup. <laughs>
  24. Yep. But I think they're the (my beloved....traditional) B pattern uppers that they're blowin out right now. Not the "pmag friendly" A pattern. The "A4" designation is the upper receiver design.....AKA flat-top. I'd have to check with Pat (mraley) to confirm or deny the compatibility. Don't have any "A" pattern's myself. Either way. A $1000 10A / 10B is a great platform to start with. Like I said earlier. Lots of room to work with. And pay no attention to those RRA guys. They're bound to come out of the woodwork here soon.
