  1. That's why I use QD mounts on my optics. Something fails, just pop it off and flip up the BUIS. And I've gone to using Yankee Hill spring loaded back-ups. But they don't make a 45 degree like you've been looking for.
  2. Oh my GOD! Keep us in your hearts fellas. We're experiencing blizzard conditions here in the DC area tonight. I think they're already talking about canceling schools on Monday because of the fallout. Milk and toilet paper for everybody STAT! If you know anything about the DC area.....then you know.
  3. Same to you brother. To you and the family.
  4. Nice looking unit. Purpose built. I especially like the can cover. I keep meaning to get a couple of those.
  5. Oh my.............................................
  6. I'm guessing that it's just standard 115 grain 9mm? Otherwise I would've guessed that it was one of @MikedaddyH home brew loads. Since the pistol fired after sliding the pins back into place, I would assume that this was an ammo failure. Luckily it didn't bang your hand up with the casing blowing out like that.
  7. True. But then again, we all know how I feel about cleaning weapons.
  8. Yeah, I picked up on that.
  9. Mildly interested. But not enough to consider getting one. Just interested enough to find out through others whether or not Palmetto gets it right. I've already personally done the whole piston vs. DI comparison thing with my POF P308 pitted against any of my standard AR-10's. The whole piston thing never really did anything for me. I get the whole theory behind it, but it just never really lit me up. Just my opinion.
  10. We were in the low 60's rainy and foggy on Tuesday. Back in the 20's today. Typical DC temperature swings. You never know what you're gonna get. I blame Congress.
  11. Yep. Pretty good pictures there. Made me regret missing this one this year. But I'll be back again. You fukers can't get rid of me that easy. That is..........till I get black-balled.
  12. Yeah, that guy really turned the corner throughout the whole election time. It just goes to show you that the libs can hide right front of you. But only for as long as they can keep thier mouth shut. As soon as they start talking, we usually learn exactly who they are. And as far as any 'actors' opinion on anything, I'll never understand why anybody would give a flying rats ass what they think.
  13. Yeah, winter weather has finally hit us here in the DC region. We've been swinging from the mid 20's to low 40's.
  14. That looks OUT-FUCKING-STANDING!
  15. Some stuff just can't be explained in a rational manner. I just don't understand some of you humans.

    Grilling

    Happy Birthday brother.
  17. I think that Doc being a fellow Trek fan, albeit a little more subdued than myself, can appreciate this. This is a combination of actors in make-up and prosthetics, along with some AI rendered video and some deep fake CGI. The young Kirk (Shatner) is incredible. It's amazing (if not scary) what computer video technology can do at this point.
  18. Who doesn't love a happy ending huh?
  19. Pretty sweet.
  20. Welcome aboard from Maryland.

    I'm Back Baby!

Good job brother. You don't have to worry about where your next meal is coming from.
  22. That's a sexy little beast.

    Hello

Welcome aboard from the peoples republic of Marylandstan.
  24. Yeah, we've only been dipping down into the mid to low 40's this week, and climbing into the low 70's throughout the day. No humidity. I've been enjoying it after the ball sticking summer that the DC area annually gets.
