@Rsquared sooooo today I stumbled into my buddies gunshop, he had a fn 502 and 509 in the shop I wanted to fondle them side by side. I love how my 502 feels in my hand and it’s suppose to be built off the 509 chassis. I really don’t want to get into an other caliber but man it fits well! We get talking about the 502 asks me me if I’ve done any internal work on mine? Says no? He tells me I need to get a stainless guide rod and an sig P250 spring. It’s crazy how much stiffer it is with it but he said he’s had zero cycling or extraction problems since so I go home Google it its 30$ in parts Only cost me 929$ cuz I ordered a fn 509 tactical too……

I like it too, I’ve got the two tone FDE but I’m digging that black! If you get a chance shoot the 545, to me it’s an up graded FNX. Hopfully some day you can shoot mine

That’s the prefect situation for a shower beer and usually about the only time I have. 14 hour day of getting your dick kicked in, no time to relax but a beer is 100% needed so take one or two to the shower it’s all about efficiency. I got one of those corner showers with the shelf’s in the corner so the beer goes in the top shelf i got a stumbled into the gun pusher story……

Played hooky for a day and got up to EAA. Got to see the ME262 replica fly, and listen to a p51 pilot talk about shooting one down. He got shot down later and spoke about being rescued from there. After he was on the allied side he was trying to get back to an air base he just started walking. At one point he came across a c47 in a field when he got to the plane there were some people there in “stripped pajamas” he described them as men with no soul. They were holocaust prisoners, but none of the allied forces knew of the holocaust at the time. also got to see the A10 for probably the last time ever.

I’m not noticing my breathing being different other than it feels like my allergies are killing me. But it it’s odd how it seems like dusk is extra long. Like at 7:30-8 it dims then the sun peaks out under the smoke at 8:45-9 just before sunset

Been working for two week straight between being on call and home projects. Treated myself to a fat ass steak and some beers on the party deck reverse seared, and roasted some garlic cloves in with the veggies, I will be doing that again!!!

Fresh caught walleye from Saturday night. grilled the fillet on my grill grate sear plate seasoned with Dan-o’s original. king trumpet mushrooms and asparagus from the farmers market also on the grill and walleye cheeks skillet seared like scallops in butter.
