  1. Glad to hear that.
  2. This is kind of interesting as well https://www.cdnnsports.com/iwi-galil-ace-pistol-762x39-stabilizing-brace.html?___SID=U#.Wiy7aKZMGhA and this. https://www.cdnnsports.com/iwi-galil-ace-pistol-7-62x51-stabilizing-brace.html?___SID=U#.Wiy8vqZMGf0
  3. Rich not to be contrary, but the standard PEPR mounts have worked for me, just don’t get the quick detach one, as they loosen up and don’t return to zero. I actually had a Burriss 3x9Fullfield in a standard PEPR mount on my AR10T carbine for several years, and it worked quite well. The Fullfield is now on my M1A and a Primary Arms 1x6 sits in the PEPR mount on my AR10T. The RRA 1piece mount is also excellent as I have that with a big Nikon scope on another rifle.
  4. Interesting! https://gunmagwarehouse.com/blog/IWI-762-Tavor/?utm_source=gunmagwarehouse&utm_campaign=d99294b1de-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_12_08_BLOG&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_0d355b7f6d-d99294b1de-424164833&mc_cid=d99294b1de&mc_eid=e905e181ab
  5. Nice report DPete, I have to pick some of those up. I will have.to try that.next year.
  6. Someone say snow? Spent my morning digging out.
  7. Burger King hands? That is a new one on me. This my hand wrapped around a 16 shot 45 acp FNX45. I truly wish I had smaller hands. Everything would fit better.
  8. 98 you need this... https://www.backcountryworld.org/products/1-set-desk-gadget-target-laser-shooting-gun-alarm-clock-lcd-screen-gun-alarm-colck-target-alarm-clock
  9. Brother your not helping!
  10. Thank goodness I am lefthanded and can’t afford it.
  11. Pic from the old days.that is not the leatherwood mount however.
  12. My original scope mount for my HBAR was a Leatherwood cantilever mount. I will see if I have any pictures of it.
  13. A distant relative was Chief Mate for the Arizona engine room. “ Ma “ as he was called. He was “Mother” to all the engine room crew. May he Rest in Peace. I am proud to be his relative, distant though I may be.
  14. I know!
  15. It seems to me that it would be tough to isolate it to a BCG as there are so many things going on when a round fires. Barrels, chambers and head space, yes. Those are all static. That leaves the BCG, trigger, buffer system and upper reciever as interacting parts during a kinetic exchange of energy. A lot to isolate.
  16. See Homer’s response under “Picture of the Day”.
  17. Reminds me of the old joke about “Boy, would I”!
  18. As much as I would like one, I think I am going to pass. I wouldn't shoot it much, and it is a lot of rigamarole to go through. Might change my mind though. Now if they were still $19 like they were in the early 60’s, that would be another story.
  19. I assume these are the "A" lowers.
  20. Rolled on the floor on this one! Full metal jacket dubbed over Rudolph.
  21. Have you called Armalite customer service? They can help you with this.
  22. I have an AR15 and my M1A set up to easily use the iron sights, but other then 1 or 2 shots to make sure they are zeroed? Never. Scopes are tougher and more flexible than they used to be. Same with red dots.
