  1. For that price its a heck of a deal.
  2. Nice Mike! Glad you are having a good season. I gotta take a year break with twin foot/ankle surgeries, but now I realize how much I miss it. Starting to make plans for next season already. I like that chain saw winch idea. I have heard about them, but your the first guy I know who uses one. Gotta look into those.
  3. Matt and Tom; I would contact HSM and raise some hell. I am guessing they will do something to make it up to you guys. That is dangerous schit to have happen .
  4. Sorry to hear about HSM, my batch is pretty good, but there are some negative reports on HSM on the Internet.
  5. Once had a speed run on a deserted freeway in a 1968 Dodge R/T with the 426. Indeed, when you get north of 120 mph the freeway light poles do start looking like a picket fence! With those dual 4 barrels it was an awesome machine in its time.
  6. With my Shepard 45 can on my 300 Blk, I get a 1 inch POI shift to the left with subsonic ammo at 100 yards. Haven't tried the supersonic stuff with the can yet.
  7. Speaking of workable ammunition, anyone have experience with this? It looks like a good price. The rule is in effect, I bought some. http://www.selwayarmory.com/bite-the-bullet-300-aac-blackout-220-gr-sierra-matchking-hpbt-subsonic-950-fps-box-of-250.html
  8. Congrats to you and your daughter MM! She has given you a lot of reasons to be a proud Dad. My son is graduating next month from business school at Minnesota Duluth. Its nice when the kids give us reasons to be proud Papas!
  9. Welcome from Wisconsin North.
  10. No one can. I don't think there are any, any more.
  11. Nice shooting. That will put some game in the freezer. Just curious; what brand scopes crapped out on you? Always good to know.

    Luth MBA 1

Finally got around to installing one of the Luth adjustable comb and pull stocks on my AR10 T. No more than a 1/4 pound more than the standard stock. At $141 I am surprised they are not more popular.
  13. Washyou must never go in the politics section. I am putting my foot in my mouth over there all the time!
  14. Wash, the boot they put on my right foot in August triggered the problems with the left ankle. We knew there were bone spurs in there 4 years ago, but the angle I had to walk at with the corrective boot on the other foot triggered a couple to break off and start doing damage. Just pushed the problem up a few years as I had already been told I would eventually have issues with it. They had to special order size 13 4E boots for both my feet.
  15. 2 Surgeries and all, I got the cast off from the ankle surgery yesterday and was able to slip my walking boot off this morning and weigh myself. I have lost 36 pounds since July 10. 2 more pounds and I am halfway to my goal. Have lost 4 inches from my waist, and went from XXXL shirts to XXL. When I get these foot casts and walking boots behind me, I can get serious about PT. Although walking 200 yards on crutches I am finding is pretty good upper body work.
  16. Welcome
  17. Welcome
  18. Truth gonna happen if you don’t crimp.
  19. It has been reported by Reuters and other services as well. It's Africa, where corruption is a way of life. And stuff goes down, even among the best of the best. It doesn't take away from the other 99.9999% and what they have done for our country even if it turns out to be true, which we don't know yet..
  20. You may want to try Armalite uppers, then, It would be difficult to find anything else I am guessing. Not much to build but they are very good quality.I would talk to American Spirit to confirm compatibility.
  21. +1 Both are great.
