If it was Wash's nitreous powered baby that might be a problem, but mine is stock so he probably could.
  2. Hit the halfway point today. 38 pounds lost with 38 pounds to go.

I like the way you think!
  4. The subsonic suppressed 308 guys up here all run bolt actions for just that reason. Wise advice JT.

I will take the Vette. Barring no winter spin outs I can cut 3 hours off the time with only a 50% chance of an ER visit. But no room for ARTrooper if he decides he wants in. He can follow us and write me a ticket.

Correction: Only nine hours after I pick up Shepp. Keep it warm.

Address and time for dinner. Its only a six hour drive for me.
  8. The R/T didn't have those aerodynamics or the wing. The owner was driving and he said you just pointed it and prayed. I was 20 years old then and you know, thought I was indestructible.
  9. Unfortunately you are right Mrmac, not going to go into details, but lets be thankful it hasn't happened yet.

I make Chori Pollo a lot, very similar.Thin chicken strips, good chorizo, onion, black beans, green chilis, with ancho and chipolte chili powder, adobo, cumin, over rice, or with the black beans on the side. Topped with salsa con queso. Wife would just as soon have it every night. Looks good Shepp.
  12. Build the first one for her. Then how can she complain about you building a second one for yourself? That way you already have two in the safe.
  13. What kind of sizing dies did you use? Always use small base dies in auto loaders especially with once fired brass.
  14. Happened to tune into "Parts Unknown" With Anthony Bourdain in New Mexico the other night. He goes out with some guys and an AR15 and a few other firearms into the desert. Interesting his comments as someone who is not that familiar with firearms. Says something to the effect of: "Some of the strongly anti-gun people I know should come out here with you guys". Keep this in mind, however; IF the Democrats dropped their stance on Black Rifles and firearms in general, they would probably be in control of the White House , the Senate, and Congress right now. Only reason we have a Republican up here right now is the Democrats anti gun platform.
  15. Sounds like it might be arthritis in your upper spine neck area. Lived with it for the last ten years. It's a PITA, and hits me when I sleep wrong. Hope it's nothing more than that.
  16. Maybe I missed it, but I see Springfield Armory's M1A no where on any list. M1 Garands are apparently OK.
  17. You gotta enjoy vacations brother, that is what they are there for. Stick with the hottie. If you gotta do PT at least enjoy the scenery.
  18. SS you are right. A lot of people who belong in mental health facilities are now out on the street. A lot of them homeless. Whether you think highly of him or not, this started in the Reagan Administration, when government supported mental health facilities were severely cut back in funding. Call it Big Brother interference, or what not, there are people who need to be protected from harming themselves and society. The challenges are to prevent such places being used to excess for political suppression, which happens quite a bit in other countries. You can't get away with jailing your opponent? put him in a mental hospital. So you have to have strong oversight to prevent that.
  19. A humble thanks to all Veterans for what you have done, and to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, there is no way we can repay you the debt for the honor you have brought to our country. God bless you all.

Checked it out. The charging handle has about 1/2 inch to spare. One less thing to worry about.
  21. You hit the nail on the head brother.

I have it all the way up right now, but I haven't had it to the range yet. Guessing I will need to lower it. But it is just turning a knob, lowering, and tightening again. Very simple to install. # minutes. Instructions included.
