  1. We were doing that with a Savage 308 Bolt Action suppressed on Saturday, that is what got the itch started. Like I said, I can fart louder than that!
  2. 98Z's commentary on 300 Blackout case forming on page 9 of "what have you done today on the reloading bench?" Should be pinned to the top of the reloading section somehow. That is incredibly useful.
  3. This looked like a really good price, and the reviews were positive. Has anyone used it? If not I will give a report. http://www.selwayarmory.com/modern-arms-300-aac-blackout-220-gr-polymer-coated-round-nose-subsonic-box-of-20.html
  4. Welcome from Wisconsin
  5. I have some 168 moly coated. It is accurate. It also coats the barrel, how accurate was the stuff right after it? Probably pretty good. FGMM 168 looked pretty good. The barrel will take about 200 rounds to completely break in. What did you feel was the most consistent ammo? ZQ1 is not that accurate, but the brass is great for reloading.
  6. Dare I ask if it was formerly on a PA 10 that had 2000 rounds through it? (No offense new PA10 guys, an inside joke.)
  7. We haven't had a lot of experienced PSA users with the Gen 2' so glad your here to help answer questions. Had an influx of early PSA 308 users that had all sorts of problems that really couldn't assist much with. They seemed to have ironed them out so looking forward to hearing more.
  8. Welcome from Wisconsin.
  9. Damn Enablers!
  10. Kinda thought that myself. Plenty of AR15 lowers and brass laying around, along with some H110 powder. What's not to like?
  11. Went to the best kind of barbeque yesterday- where everybody brings their guns, and the host has a private range. One of the guests brough a Kimber 45 suppressed, and a Savage hog hunter bolt suppressed with a bunch of subsonic 308 ammo. Damn! I am still waiting for my 45 can, but I am going to start shopping for a 30 caliber can tomorrow! I fart louder then the noise that thing makes!
  12. Bootscraper, what is your opinion of the stock trigger?
  13. Glad to hear. You got yourself a deal. You are also now the resident PSA authority!
  14. Brother glad you got her done. The shoulder, not Britney. She'd have to be on top anyway unless your doing one armed pushups. My PT was hot as well. A soccer coach so she was in great shape. Makes PT more fun. You will be ready for November.
  15. I use a dedicated depriming die. But then again I don't think I have ever reloaded any Federal XM193 brass. Have done Remington, Squires and Bingham, PMC XTAC, Winchester, and Lake City, and a bunch more. Will watch for that.
  16. Guessing your right, but no sure way to say.
  17. Good luck. Interested to see its performance.
  18. Better pictures needed.
  19. New wheels are overrated.
  20. This thread is going to be useful for new PSA 10 owners. You are going about it in a smart manner. If you get a chance post in the service rifle thread your thoughts on the M21. That is a nice piece of equipment.
  21. not a bad idea mrmackc, glad your getting better. That FGM 168 is good stuff. At that price it is hard to justify reloading.
  22. You would hope. Wonder who does the actual manufacturing/assembly for them?
  23. Wife's grandparents had a cabin up in the Stanley Basin. Awesome country. Politics intruded, Frank Church got legislation passed expropriating their property and incorporating it into the Sawtooth wilderness, even though it had been pasture land for cattle since the 1870's. Big Government. The creek in front of it was the farthest point from the Pacific that Chinook Salmon swam to spawn. 938 miles by water. Driving the back highways from there to Salmon, and on to the Bitterroot valley and Missoula is a great trip.Idaho is the jewel in America's crown.
  24. I am guessing they slap them together without a test fire if it was bone dry. What type of ammo are you going to start it out on?
  25. Thanks for the report. It sounds like a nice firearm. Look forward to your range report. If PAS has fixed their problems, it will be a credit to them, especially at those prices.
