Welcome from Wisconsin. Did you use small base dies? What is the brass manufacturer? How many times has the brass been used? Are you using standard or magnum primers? But I think you are right, it is the H380. While it is my understanding that Hodgdon doesn't have any data for that powder use in 308, a quick survey of reloader forums shows that any one using a load is using quite a bit higher powder charge than your load. Plus it is a slow burning powder and you are using it with a light weight bullet.. I am guessing that that load is not moving the bolt fast enough to get good ejection, and the second round is trying to load while the first is in the way. I would not try H380 myself unless the manufacturer has data, as you would need to find what the safe pressures are if you are changing the powder charge. The bullet and powder and charge just do not sound like a good match.

We were doing that with a Savage 308 Bolt Action suppressed on Saturday, that is what got the itch started. Like I said, I can fart louder than that!

98Z's commentary on 300 Blackout case forming on page 9 of "what have you done today on the reloading bench?" Should be pinned to the top of the reloading section somehow. That is incredibly useful.

I have some 168 moly coated. It is accurate. It also coats the barrel, how accurate was the stuff right after it? Probably pretty good. FGMM 168 looked pretty good. The barrel will take about 200 rounds to completely break in. What did you feel was the most consistent ammo? ZQ1 is not that accurate, but the brass is great for reloading.

Dare I ask if it was formerly on a PA 10 that had 2000 rounds through it? (No offense new PA10 guys, an inside joke.)

We haven't had a lot of experienced PSA users with the Gen 2' so glad your here to help answer questions. Had an influx of early PSA 308 users that had all sorts of problems that really couldn't assist much with. They seemed to have ironed them out so looking forward to hearing more.

Kinda thought that myself. Plenty of AR15 lowers and brass laying around, along with some H110 powder. What's not to like?

Went to the best kind of barbeque yesterday- where everybody brings their guns, and the host has a private range. One of the guests brough a Kimber 45 suppressed, and a Savage hog hunter bolt suppressed with a bunch of subsonic 308 ammo. Damn! I am still waiting for my 45 can, but I am going to start shopping for a 30 caliber can tomorrow! I fart louder then the noise that thing makes!

Brother glad you got her done. The shoulder, not Britney. She'd have to be on top anyway unless your doing one armed pushups. My PT was hot as well. A soccer coach so she was in great shape. Makes PT more fun. You will be ready for November.

I use a dedicated depriming die. But then again I don't think I have ever reloaded any Federal XM193 brass. Have done Remington, Squires and Bingham, PMC XTAC, Winchester, and Lake City, and a bunch more. Will watch for that.

Guessing your right, but no sure way to say.

This thread is going to be useful for new PSA 10 owners. You are going about it in a smart manner. If you get a chance post in the service rifle thread your thoughts on the M21. That is a nice piece of equipment.
