For whatever reason the chop saw I got did not have the power to cleanly cut the cases. It messed a bunch of them up. Went to Harbor Freight today, but their current mini chop saw is the same as the one I picked up from Amazon only with a different label. For $10 more I decided to try a 6 inch cut off saw. As brass is non sparking, sparks should not be an issue but I will start outside just to be safe. This is what I got. I had Siglites on my SP2022 did not see much difference between those and the Tru Glows for visibility.

I got those for my FNX 45. They work pretty well.

I need to get a new chop saw though, the one I got on Amazon is junk.

Very Tempting, but I am committed to making my own cases from all my extra 5.56 brass.

Messed around learning on some S and B brass that was expendable. Now I am doing my Lake City brass and those instructions above are right on the money. Turning out nicely beveled at precisely 1.368".

Not only that, but the ZQ-1 brass is great for reloading. When Walmart was closing it out for $5.40 a box I bought a 1000 for that reason. Don't care about the accuracy, just gimme the brass!

Thoughts and prayers are with all of you in Texas. The firearms issue is a tough one. There should be a system for reclaiming them after the emergency. If I was an LEO I honestly don't know how I would feel. 99% of the owners are fine, but that 1% would worry me.

A few years ago there was an incident in the Black Sea between an Aegis Class cruiser and a Russian SU-24 Fencer. The Fencer started an approach on an attack vector and immediately the whole electronic suite on the Aegis crashed. The Fencer went over low and slow. Some EW stuff went down. Maybe the Chinese are practicing their capabilities?

Fago DE Chao is a Brazilian Steakhouse chain that is outstanding. When I was in El Calafate Patagonia, Argentina I ordered the "Mixed Grill" to split with my nephew. Along with blood sausage (morcilla) and a great bottle of wine. It turned out to be 5 pounds of lamb and beef wood roasted on its own brasserie warmer with various sauces. Incredible! Total bill equivalent to about $35 in American dollars.

Not all were killed, I don't think. A LEO in Pennsylvania survived I believe. The 2 in Kissimmee Florida, its tragic.45 year old ex Marine was the perpetrator.

Your right there! Wish you were up here. I would drag you out fishing on your days off! In Ashland and Bayfield Counties we have a good group of local LEOs as well. I got stopped by your counterpart up here a while back. No biggie, when I bought my new truck in Minnesota they put it as a load range "A' when it needed a "B'. I think she was on the commercial weights and measures enforcement team that day. She was cool about it though and I got it changed the next week. A lot of us up here wouldn't think twice about coming to the aid of an officer in danger. They have helped us out so many times. And unfortunately with the heroin outbreak and consequent crime increase we are having, it may very well happen.
