  1. Having a dog is like breathing, you have to do it.
  2. Maybe, but if she decides she wants you, bet you don't put up too much of a fight. Besides, badass chicks with guns who know how to use them. Does it get any better?

    AR180

Mine had a bushnell 4x with the factory scope mount. Wonder if your brother and now you might have the same rifle. That would be a kick.

    AR180

Brought back memories. I had an AR180 back in the late 70's and early 80's. One rifle I truly regret selling Popular gun with the IRA as I seem to remember. Three different types were manufactured: A few in Costa Mesa, CA, some by Howa, out of Japan, and more by Sterling in England. In a lot of ways was really a blend of an AR and an AK. With that folding stock, it was small enough to shove in an internal frame backpack. Scope mount worked as advertised, and with M193 ball it was pretty accurate, and very reliable. You had to adapt AR15 magazines though by making a dremel cut for the mag holder to engage. I regret selling it, but at the time I was just married and needed the money. Armalite modified it and brought it back, but by then, AR 15's had taken over that market niche.
  7. Cali Ed I noticed some AA batteries and what looks to be an electrical cord laying loose on those papers on top of the powder jugs. Probably not a hazard unless there is a metal shelf or something that could complete a circuit. Again, with closed containers probably not an issue but freak accidents do happen. Might want to keep them away from your powder just as a precaution.
  8. Some news on my congressman who is holding hearings on this. http://dailysignal.com/2015/03/24/what-to-expect-from-todays-operation-choke-point-hearing/

    My steal

    Affirmative Affirmative, Affirmative.
  12. The guy he is replacing wasn't any better either. He was a master politician in the Minneapolis office when he served there. I am guessing he knows something is coming down and is getting out before it hits the fan.

    It's here!

Hard to argue with 1911's I have two myself, but I am cursed with XXXL hands, most 1911 grips are too small for my hands. A doublestack 45 works very well for me in terms of hand size, though my 1911 Officer is still my CC.

    My steal

    That will work.
  16. For the Kurds, its life or death. Iran persecutes them, Turkey persecutes them, Saddam dropped nerve gas on their cities. And ISIS has attacked them from the beginning. They fight with anything and verything that will shoot, and haven't been getting much help from the west, although Germany and the Netherlands are changing that. It is a society mobilized for survival, and thus, war. A lot of the front line troops are female, and supposedly, damn good. Had an acquaintance who was working with them in places He won't talk about. He has a high opinion of their abilities.
  17. Thanks ChaseFan9, actually it was very pertinent to the thread, so why not?

    Using your head

    Good one.
  19. Veterans, if you know what this is, and I am sure you do, keep it secret for a while. Saw it on facebook.
  20. I don't particularly like M855 and was thinking of selling my inventory at a premium right after replacing it with M193. Not ripoff pricing, mind you, but make enough to help fund another purchase. I bought it back in the day of 27 cents a round, PMC X Tac, and 32 cents a round Lake City. Think I will sit tight for a while.
  21. Drive it into the ground, put the money you would spend on a new car in the bank. Then get yourself something a little nicer when it dies with the extra money.
