If you want a commercial Vinegar sauce, Stubb’s regular is pretty good.
  2. I will take one of the Armorers Course books. PM inbound.

Try CCI 22 WMR red tips with the polymer tip. They cycle great in mine and are pretty accurate. Only ones I use now.
  4. Looking at a 6.5 Creedmore build in the future. This is good to know. Thank you.
  5. You are probably automatically logging in with your computer filling in the name and password. The software recognizes that you may be a robotic program, so it prevents you from entering comments. Try manually entering your name and password.
  6. Yep. Know where my ashes are going. If it’s windy that day, cover your drinks.
  7. Peachy, check this site out. My apologies ,should have put it in that other thread. https://thewellarmedwoman.com/product/lace-belly-band-by-the-well-armed-woman/
  8. That was a tough time and a tough situation to be a Marine in. Thanks for your service and prayers for those that didn’t return. What sucks about getting old is the number of us who go through the chemo deal. I have been lucky so far, but I am under no illusions. Both my parents died of cancer, so it’s only a matter of time. As far as slings, an M14 and an M16A1 are far separate beasts when it comes to the need for slings and the slings that were issued with them. I replaced my standard nylon AR15 and AR10 slings with 1907’s simply because that’s what I like and have learned to use from day 1.
  9. Always used the 1907 for serious shooting because that is what I had on my sporterized 1917 Winchester Enfield when I was 12, and used them ever since, even on my AR16 and AR10 rifles. Guess it’s time to get a Beachin.
  10. A workable rifle now. Congrats

    Dam! That looks good!
  12. Wonder if the sale of backhoes and septic tanks has increased in New Zealand?

All the bars up here have it. The way I have been catching them, it will be a while before I have to go to a bar for whitefish.

After the fact: Remnants of two whitefish caught this morning, fileted, deboned, breaded and deep fried. Enough for a fish sandwich for lunch tomorrow
  15. Stories out of Montreal in the 70’s were brutal.
  16. Nice!

A salute to those three LEO’s who were able to stop the shooter before it got worse. Bad as it is, they took action that saved lives.
  18. Not to go off thread, but a robotic plane releasing a robotic GPS guide bomb, from 40,000 feet, landing and detonating within 2 yards of you, what would be kind of fun, about that? Go read up on something called “the Singularity Event”. Which will happen within the next 25 years. As if we don’t have enough to worry about.
  19. I have this piranha I need to find a home for, does he need a tank mate? Signed, “Nubs”” Sisco
  20. Good luck with your treatment.
  21. I don’t know if he did or not. In those days, most the musicians in a “famous” band, except for a few key members, were locals. The band leader would come in, hire musicians to fill in the band, they would practice a little bit, play their gigs, get paid, and the band leader would be on to the next town and gigs. So my Dad would be hired for gigs in and around St. Louis. It kept him in money until the job market got better.
  22. This jewel is a 1936 Epiphone electric guitar. My Dad made a living in St. Louis in the 30’s as a band musician. Had the opportunity to play behind a lot of famous people including Tommy Dorsey and Louis Armstrong. Our family treasures this beauty and it is kept in a safe place by a trusted family member.
